THE REAL REASON FOR CHINA'S CRACKDOWN ON TIBET: YAK MILK

Now we know why China has such an interest in such an otherwise insignificant place (Tibet):
A pioneering Chinese company is to market pasteurised Tibetan yak milk in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, in the hope that it will become a new superfood in the world's most populous country.

At 24 yuan (£2) for a small 250ml carton, Feifan - meaning 'uncommonly good' - costs several times as much as cow's milk. 'It's very natural, green, pure and high-quality. That's our big selling point - we aim at the high-end market,' said Ding Pengcheng of the Treasure of the Plateau Yak Milk Company. Over the next three years, the firm is to spend millions to crack the domestic and international markets, with the help of state investment. Yaks produce fewer than 300 litres of milk a year, while cows yield 35 times as much. The firm pays Tibetan farmers 16 yuan or more per litre; eight times the price of standard milk.

The animals are central to Tibetan culture: their butter is melted into tea and fuels the lamps that light monasteries. Dung keeps fires burning; bones are carved into beads. Yaks provide Droma and her family with everything they need. 'Female yaks are very important to us: we can get milk, make butter and cheese and get extra money by selling it. For the males, they can be used for transport,' she said. 'We can sell the yak skins and the meat and hair. All the parts can be sold. Then we buy things like grain.'

WEST'S STANCE ON TIBET INFURIATES YOUNG CHINESE FED PROPAGANDA BY THEIR GOVERNMENT

The Chinese need to open their eyes. Seriously, they need to use their fingers and prop their eyes open so they can see.

Like many young people in the West, Wang Shaoqing longs to travel through Tibet one day, to experience its stunning scenery and witness the culture. Like them, too, he is deeply concerned by the troubles of the past fortnight and what he sees as an inadequate international response.

'We find it hard to understand why the West has always used the Tibetan issue to oppress China ... Tibet is a historically indispensable part of the Chinese nation,' complained Wang, 23, a Beijing college student, blaming the Dalai Lama and his followers for inciting riots.

His remarks underscore the cultural gulf between Chinese and Western observers of the unrest.

In part, they reflect the Chinese government's powerful propaganda drive. Chinese and Tibetan TV channels have repeatedly screened graphic images from Lhasa: monks throwing stones at young riot police; mobs launching unprovoked and probably lethal attacks on bystanders.

They have not shown largely peaceful protests in other areas or the paramilitary police use of teargas and gunfire in response; quoted exile groups' claims that up to 100 have died in the crackdown; or explained the grievances of Tibetans.
Oh no he didn't. Wang Shaoqing did not just complain that the West is oppressing China? The Chinese preaching about oppression is like Justin Timberlake preaching about cool. It's just not believable.

VIDEO CLAIMS TIBET RIOTS STAGED BY CHINA - WATCH!

Video claims Tibet riots may have been staged by the Chinese government.

And this, from a report from the G2 bulletin:

Britain’s GCHQ, the government communications agency that electronically monitors half the world from space, has confirmed the claim by the Dalai Lama that agents of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, the PLA, posing as monks, triggered the riots that have left hundreds of Tibetans dead or injured.

GCHQ analysts believe the decision was deliberately calculated by the Beijing leadership to provide an excuse to stamp out the simmering unrest in the region, which is already attracting unwelcome world attention in the run-up to the Olympic Games this summer.

Discovering that his supporters inside Tibet and China would become even more active in the months approaching the Olympic Games this summer, British intelligence officers in Beijing learned the ruling regime would seek an excuse to move and crush the present unrest.

That fear was publicly expressed by the Dalai Lama. GCHQ’s satellites, geo-positioned in space, were tasked to closely monitor the situation.

The doughnut-shaped complex, near Cheltenham racecourse, is set in the pleasant Cotswolds in the west of England. Seven thousand employees include the best electronic experts and analysts in the world. Between them they speak more than 150 languages. At their disposal are 10,000 computers, many of which have been specially built for their work.

The images they downloaded from the satellites provided confirmation the Chinese used agent provocateurs to start riots, which gave the PLA the excuse to move on Lhasa to kill and wound over the past week.

What the Beijing regime had not expected was how the riots would spread, not only across Tibet, but also to Sichuan, Quighai and Gansu provinces, turning a large area of western China into a battle zone.

CHINA'S BABY MILK PLANT MOMENT?: CHINESE STAGE TIBETAN PROTESTER ATTACK ON WHEELCHAIR LADY?

The Chinese people have been enraged about the alleged attack on a wheelchair bound olympic torch carrier by a supposed Tibetan protester in Paris. Pictures of her determined resistance have been plastered all over Chinese state run media and are being used as a rallying cry for Chinese nationalism. Well, it appears, that the whole thing may have been staged. In what appears to be China's "baby milk plant" moment, Dafydd at Big Lizards has incredible evidence that the attacks on the Olympic torch procession may have been planned in Beijing. Also, photos are surfacing of Chinese soldiers carrying Tibetan monk robes. Now why would they need these? Just incredible! The photos below show the image that was shown all across the world of the alleged attack on the torch carrier by a Tibetan protester, the alleged attacker marching with friends carrying Chinese flags, and Chinese soldiers carrying Tibetan monk robes:

HEY L. LI-CHING WANG! TELL YOUR PEOPLE TO CHILL OUT

Chinese consumers have been urged to boycott French goods in response to the raucous protests that accompanied the Olympic torch through Paris.

The appeal, circulated on internet chatrooms and bulletin boards, indicates the protests earlier this week have not only embarrassed the Beijing government, but also ignited a strong nationalist reaction among sections of the Chinese public.
Chinese Urged to Boycott French Goods

Tell em that "humility and compassion, not hypocrisy and self-righteousness, is what is needed." You tell em' Wang. That is if the Chinese government will let you.

And while you're at it, maybe you want to remind these "Chinese-Americans" they're actually Americans and that maybe they might not want to be waving Communist China flags on the streets of an American city. Tell them the buzz words..."humility and compassion"...and teach em' about "assimilation" while you're at it.
