The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's fiery ex-pastor, re-emerged yesterday with a crude reference about race and sex in the White House.

"This ordinary boy [Obama] just might be the first president in the history of the United States to have a black woman sleeping at 1600 Pennsylvania legally," Wright said, referring to Michelle Obama, in a sermon at the Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston.

It was unclear whether Wright was making a reference to prostitution, to old miscegenation laws, or to the history of illicit interracial sex under slavery.

Wright's remarks yesterday were full of praise for Obama - although several times, he referred to Obama as a "boy" who later developed into an extraordinary person, through God's work and, presumably, Wright's guidance.

"The lord turned the ordinary into the extraordinary. Y'all just saw it this past week. It was on national television," Wright said to applause.

"An ordinary black boy raised in a single-parent home . . . walked into my office 20 years ago to talk about his dream for a community that concentrated on things that we could achieve in common."

Right..."in common".

OBAMA ON REZKO: "THIS IS NOT THE PERSON I KNEW"

Obama on Tony Rezko:

“I’m saddened by today’s verdict. This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew, but now he has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges that once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform. I encourage the General Assembly to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent these kinds of abuses in the future.”

Obama on Rev. Wright:

"I've known Rev. Wright for almost 20 years. The person that I saw yesterday was not the person I met 20 years ago. His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate, and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church."

The man can't spot a racist or crook when he sees one. And we're supposed to believe he can stop the rise of the oceans and heal the planet? Wake up America! Dude's a douche!

And it looks like the Catholic League has had enough of Pfleger:

Indeed, when Obama was in the state senate in Illinois, he conveniently arranged for Father Pfleger’s St. Sabina’s Church to receive state monies for its social programs. Of course, the guardians of church and state separation said nothing then and they are saying nothing now. That’s because they’re all in the tank for Obama. Just as important, why is it that of all the wonderful Catholic priests in the Chicago Archdiocese, Obama long ago chose Pfleger to hang with? Truth be known, Pfleger has a very troubling history: he has welcomed the anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan to preach in his church; he has hired prostitutes to worship there; he has been arrested for defacing billboards; and he once urged the crowd at an anti-gun rally to hunt down a gun store owner ‘like a rat’ and ‘snuff’ him.

The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's loose cannon of a spiritual adviser, stole the wife of a parishioner - after the man sought Wright's help in saving his troubled marriage, the former husband told friends.

Delmer Reed, 59, confided to pals that he believed the minister moved in on his wife while Wright was counseling the couple at his Chicago church in the early 1980s, The Post has learned.

"That's exactly how he said it," Reed's divorce lawyer, Roosevelt Thomas, told The Post. "It looks like Delmer might have been right," he said, because after Delmer and Ramah Reed were divorced, she got remarried - to Wright. "Either that or this was the biggest coincidence in the world."

Asked about the relationship between Wright and his ex-wife, Reed told The Post, "Oh, the things I could tell you."

Asked if Wright broke up his marriage, Reed laughed, then said, "I told my kids I wouldn't say anything to hurt their stepfather, so I'm not saying anything."

Asked if he's forgiven the pastor, Reed nodded.

"I let it go," he said. "I don't want my kids to hear anything negative about their stepfather."

He added: "I'm not a vindictive person; I'm a forgiving man."

But years ago, Reed did express anger about the situation, said Harold Davis, who said he learned about the matter through mutual friends.

"Jeremiah knew all the weaknesses of the couple, and he started focusing on the wife, her vulnerabilities, and started doing things she wanted Delmer to do - spending time with her, taking her to the movies, that sort of thing," said Davis, who heads the Chicago branch of football great Jim Brown's Amer-I-can youth program.

"Everybody knew Jeremiah took the man's wife," said Davis. "It was common knowledge."

By now, most everyone who can read is aware that after a 21 years as his mentor and spiritual adviser, Barak Obama has decided to denounce Reverend Jeremiah Wright for his racist and anti-American speech. I thought I would write something about that, but it occurred to me that lots of other people had already done that. So, I'm just going to borrow their stuff. Here's what I found:

"I’m watching MSNBC and Andrea Mitchell is asking NBC correspondent Athena Jones why Obama chose now to finally, unequivocally, part ways with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. In her reporting wisdom, Jones is talking about how Wright offended Obama with his remarks yesterday at the National Press Club. I don’t think so.

My guess is it had something to do with the poll call I got last night. All questions were about the Obama-Wright relationship and whether that made me think more unfavorably about Barack Obama. Then they asked if I was more inclined now to vote for Hillary since this blew up. Due respect to Athena, but she should do a little more reporting and actually ask Obama why he did what he did a few minutes ago.

I would put money on the fact that Obama saw the results of that snap poll and said, “My God, I’ve got to ditch this guy.”"

So the night before Obama, after 21 years, decides to throw Reverend Coo Coo Pants under the bus, someone is polling in North Carolina trying to measure public response to the Wright/Obama relationship. That's a good a place as any to start. Next, let us remember what Obama said about Wright not so long ago:

“I constantly remember Rev. Wright as the shepherd who guided me to my commitment to Christ one Sunday morning at Trinity. I often consider, as I work in the Senate how he lives his life-a life of service to Trinity, Chicago and the nation; his activism on behalf of causes that few would champion and his dogged commitment to the first principles of love for God and fellow man. And in my personal walk, I seek daily to imitate his faith."

And you may remember a few weeks ago Obama, in his great race speech, had this to say about Wright (and remember, this was in response to the exact same type of comments that he now purports to be outraged by):

"I could no more disown him (Wright) as I could disown my white grandmother."

Oh y'all remember grandma...

Granny was a nice lady...To nice to be under the bus. That's for sure. In any event, yesterday, Obama had this to say about the outrageous comments by Wright:

"I am outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday."

"The person that I saw yesterday was not the person that I met 20 years ago." "His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but I believe that they end up giving comfort to those who prey on hate, and I believe that they do not portray accurately the perspective of the black church."

"They certainly don’t portray accurately my values and beliefs,".

To which, the Ace of Spades had these very insightful and, dare I say, prophetic comments:

This time, the media will crow, he really has put this issue completely behind him.

Of course they said that last time, too, and six thousand times since then.

Claims that Wright's recent "performances" represent a "Change" from the man he'd known for 20 years. Doubles down claiming that he hasn't heard this stuff from Wright before.

Two words:

Bull. Fucking. Shit. This is not a man who is shy about revealing whatever is on his lunatic, racist mind. The idea that Barack didn't know is so preposterous as to make me physically angry.

Wait, Wait, Wait: Now that Wright threatens Obama's candidacy, are we not any longer supposed to look at his words "in context" and judge the man "according to his whole career and the good works he's done"?

That was the MSM's claims yesterday, when Obama was still trying to limp along with his Illinois Nazi buddy. Now that Obama himself has declared Wright a non-person, the MSM will, I imagine, suddenly decide he is as well, and of course the focus will be on Wright himself being an evil guy, not on Barack Obama for cultivating a twenty year political/personal/spiritual alliance with him.

Of course, we could go on and on. But is there really any need to?
