Busted!...Again - Democrats Caught Planting Fake Doctor at Town Hall Meetings

UPDATE: I bumped this back to the top of the page. Via Ace, it seems Fake Doctor Roxana is a member of Obama's Organizing for America. You know, Obama's group that he emails and tells them to get in people's faces. His own internet army.

Here is the story as it ran this morning:

The Democrats are busted again. This time, planting a fake doctor at a town hall meeting on health care. These reports claim to have exposed a recent Obamacare supporter as a pretender.

Roxana Mayer stood before God and man and said she was a pediatric primary care physician at Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee's town hall meeting and that she was a huge supporter of Obamacare.

One small issue there. She is not a pediatric primary care physician. In fact, she's not even a doctor. But she was an Obama state delegate.

Here's video of the phony baloney. Not hard to tell, like, um, like, why the phony doctor alarm bell went off. Like, um, most doctors can like, um, uh, put together two sentences without like, stuttering and stammering and like, using the word like.

Read more on this outrageous hoax here.

UPDATE # 2: Even more shenanigans revealed by Gateway Pundit:

The fake doctor plant attended Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee's town hall with the crazy Che fan Maria Isabel who ran an Obama office in Houston.

Here's Maria Isabel's office during the election.

UPDATE # 3: Thanks to our readers, we can now add the following information.

At first, the Houston Chronicle took Mayer's word that she is a doctor, failed to investigate her bona fides, and reported the following:
Some attendees at the meeting spoke in favor of the plan, go (sic -- going?) so far as to want a system where the government had complete control.

One supporter, Dr. Roxana Mayer, a physician who does not live in Jackson Lee’s district, praised the reform plan for overhauling a broken system.

“I don’t know what there is in the bill that creates such panic,” she said.
Suspicious, Patterico began digging, finding the following in short order:

* "The AMA Doctor Finder doesn’t list any physician named Roxana Mayer."
* "Nor does the Texas Medical Association."
* "Linked In lists a Roxana Mayer — who, according to LinkedIn, is slated to graduate from the University of Houston with a Masters in Social Work in 2010."
* "However, the University of Houston lists a student by the name of Roxana Mercedes Mayer."
After Patterico did the dirty work, the Chronicle's Cynthia Horswell added the following four paragraphs to the story this morning, while giving Patterico no credit:

In an e-mail to the Chronicle on Thursday morning, Mayer confirmed she is not a licensed physician.

"I have been advised to refrain from making any further statements," she said.

In the initial story about the event, the Chronicle reported that she was a doctor based on her claim at the meeting.

Today, Jackson Lee denied knowing Mayer and said she was not planted as a friendly voice in the crowd.

Horswell's story, time-stamped at of 10:46 a.m. CT as of the time of this post (saved here at my host for future reference) has the same URL to which Patterico linked, meaning that Horswell's current renditon has effectively flushed all previous versions down the Chron's memory hole.

Horswell still hasn't told readers that Mayer was an Obama delegate. Patterico commenter "mike in houston" reports direct e-mail evidence from Horswell that the Chron reporter has known this from the very beginning of this sordid episode and has chosen not to disclose. Mayer's status as a delegate, along with additional "coincidences" reported at LoneStarTimes.com, would tend to severely if not fatally dent the credibility of Jackson Lee's claim not to know her -- even beyond the hug picture with Mayer and Lee the Chron has already published.
One our commenters added this:
The Patterico crowd is writing letters to the Texas Ethics division that regulates social workers.

It's against the law to impersonate a doctor.

Hold them to their own standards - they're the idiots who crave endless government regulations.

And here's a link to complain, you have to fill it out and return by mail. But It's worth it.

Think about how they crucified a regular Joe who was doing nothing but standing in his own front yard when Obama the messiah approached him.

Sheila Jackson Lee Takes Cell Phone Call During Health Care Town Hall

Booty call?

This is what your Democrat leaders think of your concerns. To save you some time, you can jump to the 4:30 mark of the video.

Shelia Jackson Lee answers her cell phone while a person in the audience is addressing her at a townhall meeting in Houston Texas on August 11th 2009.

Senator: "You Don't Trust Me"?

Uh. That's a question she shouldn't have asked. Video gold.

At a health care town hall meeting, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) asks people attending, "You don't trust me?" The overwhelming response: "NO!"

Liar!!!

What else can you call the man? This is what we used to call, back in the day, a bald-faced lie.

Obama today on single payer insurance.

Obama prior to today on single payer insurance.

Is he not lying? Anyone of you reporters who get paid the big bucks wanna call Obama on this? I mean once you get off your knees, of course.

Rep. Dingell - "Health Care Protesters Remind Me of the KKK"

Anything to shut people up. I told you the race card was going to be played. And here we go.

Really? The KKK? Shut up fool! Has anyone seen any scene like this? Anyone?

Man Threatened Because of Opposition to Obamacare

This is a video every American needs to watch. Goons paid a visit to his house in the middle of the night after he protested Obamacare. Powerful stuff.

Let The Beatings Begin

The war is on folks. Join the fight against intrusive governmental control over your health care options and frankly, your life in general.

As it has been previously and repeatedly noted, the health care industry represents approximately 7 to 15% of our total economy depending on how the numbers are crunched and who is doing the crunching. Nevertheless, health care and it's related industries and our overall domestic output are in for a severe shock if Obamacare is passed by Congress this year or next.

Thankfully, Obama's poll numbers are beginning to fade as a result of his extreme liberal policies and the unprecedented spending coupled with said policies. Clearly there is only one way to pay for another massive government takeover of a critical public market and that is through taxation. Taxes baby.

Whether in the top 1% or the middle 1/3 of the tax bracket, somebody, you, me, them, will be paying for this looming disaster. And as a lady hammered it home to Senator Arlen Specter and HHS Secretary Katherine Sebelius a few days ago, "If you can't run Cash for Clunkers, how can we expect you to run health care?" Agreed.

Our government is a rudderless ship captained by a Napoleonic egomaniac with a Congress full of dopes, degenerates, crooked shysters and life-long palm greasers that need to be thrown overboard to sink or swim with the fishes. Left to it's own devices with our tax revenues the Congress and Obama administration are like heroin addicts arguing over the last speedball that's already been shot up.

And now we have the added creep factor of government, more specifically the Obama administration, wanting your friends and neighbors to rat you out if you spread "dis-information" about Obama's healthcare overhaul plans. Seems rather benign on the front end, I mean, we're all on some list or another within the great, vacuous, black hole of government, but what makes it more sinister is the fact that these lists could potentially be kept secret and permanent. And it doesn't appear to be legal. Obama, exactly what do you want little buddy?

We are not here to harm you, we are just sick of you raping our country for your unwanted and dangerous agenda. Look at the lunatics you've surrounded yourself with and you still don't understand why middle America is concerned? There is a man in your administration who wrote a book condoning mass sterilization through the water supply as a form of population control for crissakes! And the Energy Secretary who suggested painting everything white to reflect light energy back into space. I have one word that blows that little theory into outer space and it's called winter.

If you were looking for the middle of the road Brother Obama, start looking up because you're in the f'n ditch man. For you to expect us to get in lockstep with this draconian insanity is just, well, insane. Can you blame us when we hear the word trillion bantered about like it's common place?

Get over it bud and don't forget, dissent is patriotic. Or is it?

The Public Plan Deception - It's Not About Choice

I don't say this often, but, make sure you get this to as many people as possible. It's the least you can do.

Group Paying $15 an Hour to Support Health Care Plan

So a "mob" isn't a mob when you're being paid? Where the media? Is this not astroturfing? This ad is being plastered on Craigslist across the country. Via Sweetness and Light:

Now is our chance to make health care work.

America’s health care system is broken. Health care costs are spiraling out of control, throwing families, businesses and government into financial crisis. Families are worried their health coverage won’t be there when they need it. Our country can’t afford to wait for health reform that keeps costs down and protects consumers.

We can’t wait for affordable, dependable health care.

We’re fighting for health care that will protect families’ financial health, lay out a clear path for all Americans to afford health care, and improve patient safety and quality care.

You can work for change this summer.

Join motivated staff around the country working to make change happen. You can make great friends and money along the way. Earn $4000-$6000 this summer.

UPDATE: We have learned that none other than George Soros has pledged $5 million to fund support for Obama's health care plan. Will the mainstream media report this?
In another sign of the urgency gripping the pro-health care reform camp, billionaire George Soros has pledged to sink $5 million into the fight, the group getting the money confirmed.

Soros — whose operation carefully guards the privacy of such donations — made the pledge to Health Care For America Now, the leading coalition of pro-reform groups, unions and providers, HCAN chief Richard Kirsch confirmed in an email that was forwarded to me.

Kirsch was asked by a prominent liberal blogger to comment for a post on Soros’ $5 million pledge, which the blogger had heard about. “Thanks for the heads up,” Kirsch emailed in reply. “HCAN is pleased to be supported by people and organizations who support our campaign to win quality, affordable health care for all.”

The blogger, who didn’t end up writing about the donation, passed the email along, and an HCAN spokesperson didn’t dispute the email or the figure when I asked about it.
DOUBLE DOG UPDATE: Is this astroturfing? Where's the media outrage. I say again. Where the hell is the outrage?
The drug industry has authorized its lobbyists to spend as much as $150 million on television commercials supporting President Obama’s health care overhaul, beginning over the August Congressional recess, people briefed on the plans said Saturday.

The unusually large scale of the industry’s commitment to the cause helps explain some of a contentious back-and-forth playing out in recent days between the odd-couple allies over a deal that the White House struck with the industry in June to secure its support. The terms of the deal were not fully disclosed. Both sides had announced that the drug industry would contribute $80 billion over 10 years to the cost of the health care overhaul without spelling out the details.

Many Democratic lawmakers have railed for years against what they consider the industry’s excessive profits and pointedly insisted in recent days that they do not feel bound by the White House’s commitments.
And what do the pharmaceutical companies get? Anyone? Well, they got an agreement from the White House that drug prices could not be forced down any further. Unreal! And this will lower medical costs how? It won't. Unless Obama plans to make cuts elsewhere. Like with the elderly. Wake up America! You been hoodwinked! Bamboozled!!!

Where the Fishy Folks at?

Democrats Will Play the Race Card on Health Care

I woke up thinking like a liberal today. Not that the Democrats haven't already ventured into this area. They certainly have. But not in a concerted and mission-oriented effort. Instead, they played the demonize the insurance industry, "Brooks Brother Brigade", class warfare card. That, we have seen, was a mistake, It had no effect. Moreover, there is too much truth about the effect Obama's plan's will have on the elderly for the Democrats to play the "scare the hell out of the elderly card". So I promise you this. The race card WILL be played. And played soon. It has to be played. They have nothing left.

Obama's Health Care Advisers

In order to understand the President's approach to health care reform, it's important to understand the beliefs and policies of his advisers.

How Long Before Obama Proposes "Cash For Grandparents"?

That's the question that confronted me when I woke up this morning. How long before the Obama administration begins offering cash to Americans to trade in their older, less efficient, less environmentally friendly grandparents for newer, more efficient and possibly imported models? Seem far fetched? Not really. One of the biggest cost-saving measures contained in Obama's health care plan is the systematic elimination of medical treatment for the elderly. As well as "compassionate" "life-ending counseling sessions" to be forced upon the elderly. A polite and politically correct term for euthanasia. Is that a scare tactic? Not at all. It's how Obama and his henchmen think. Here's video of Obama espousing this philosophy. His own words. You don't need surgery, just take a pain pill and die.

Two Republican leaders in the House of Representatives are confirming reports that the health care restructuring bill the House is currently considering promotes euthanasia. A leading patients rights advocate is worried about the effects of the legislation.

Betsy McCaughey, the former New York lieutenant government who is now a patient's rights advocate, notes that the government-run health care plan would require "end of life" counseling for seniors.

In a statement sent to LifeNews.com House Republican Leader John Boehner Republican Policy Committee Chairman Thaddeus McCotter confirm those fears.

"Section 1233 of the House-drafted legislation encourages health care providers to provide their Medicare patients with counseling on ‘the use of artificially administered nutrition and hydration’ and other end of life treatments,'" the pair say.
Watch.

So how long before we're being offered cash for grandpa? How much will we get? And who will replace them?

UPDATE: Eunice Kennedy Shriver is in critical condition and reportedly close to death. She has suffered numerous strokes over the past few years. How many life-ending counseling sessions do you think she has had to sit through? Anyone? Bueller?

I had to share this. Via Free Republic and The People's Cube.

Video: Union Thugs Attack Health Care Protesters in St. Louis

Shades of the Pinkertons. This is getting downright scary. Look at these reports. Obama has unleashed the hounds of hell. The dogs of war! And please, don't say he didn't. Because he did.

A black conservative was attacked by the Carnahan-supporting mob.
At least one SEIU member is arrested by St. Louis police in this video:

Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don't tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John's Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.

“It just seems there's no freedom of speech without being attacked,” he said.
It was the Obama administration that de-humanized these protesters by calling them a "mob". And it's the Obama administration that's in bed with the SEIU. Do the math.

Those are the reports. All information is subject to confirmation.

Let us all take words of wisdom from Hillary Clinton. Don't let them silence you.

UPDATE: This report claims that one of those arrested for harassing opponents of Obama's health care plan is a Carnahan staffer.

Goons Attack Health Care Protesters

Tampa, last night - Developing...

Tampa, Florida - Angry protesters and strong supporters are clashing inside and all around a health care reform town hall meeting in Downtown Tampa. The meeting which was scheduled to begin at 6:00 at the Children's Board of Hillsborough County drew hundreds of people who quickly began to overwhelm staff and event organizers at the front entrance.

As the building filled to capacity, angry protesters stuck outside began to scream, yell, and chant. At one point, those trying to get inside began banging on windows as Tampa Police officers quickly spread out guarding all entrances.

10 Connects photojournalist Kevin Carlson, currently inside the meeting reports at least one fist fight breaking out inside.

UPDATE 7:13pm

Police on bullhorns are trying to break-up the crowd outside the building on 1002 E. Palm Ave.

Many in the crowd are refusing to go.

UPDATE 7:32pm

The forum has ended early.
Here's a picture of the "angry mob" protesters. Complete with their walkers.

Democrat Senator Busted Sneaking in Union Thugs to Town Hall Meeting: Tea Party Protesters Locked Out

Gateway Pundit busted Senator Carnahan from Missouri, Busted him big time:

Over 1,000 St. Louis Tea Party Taxpayers showed up to attend the Russ Carnahan town hall meeting in South St. Louis.

They were Locked Out!

But... The Carnahan staff was sneaking in SEIU members in the side door marked "handicapped."

Here's the video.

In this video you see one Carnahan supporter allowed into the meeting at Bernard Middle School. There were 1,000 tea party taxpayers stranded outside the main door.
When two SEIU members attempt to get in the door the crowd went nuts and blocked them at the door.

This was the impressive gathering of Americans that were locked out of the meeting.

Nancy Pelosi Compares Protesters to Nazis - Real Nazi Angry at Lack of Success in Quashing Dissent

The left has become COMPLETELY UNHINGED! Well. More than they already were. Let's see, one side wants to voice their opinion that has been completely ignored by Congress, and the leader of Congress wants them to shut their pieholes. And who's the Nazi?

Pelosi has failed. And the boss man ain't too happy.

ABC" "We Looked...We Couldn't Find Any Plants at Town Hall Meeting"

Why do the Democrats despise Americans so much?

ABC’s Steven Portnoy reports:

There were no lobbyist-funded buses in the parking lot of Mardela Middle and High School on Tuesday evening, and the hundreds of Eastern Maryland residents who packed the school’s auditorium loudly refuted the notion that their anger over the Democrats’ health care reform plans is “manufactured.”

“I went to school in this school,” a man named Bob told me. “I don't see anyone in this room that isn't from Mardela Springs right now.”

“We’ve been quiet too long,” said a woman named Joan.

As the crowd grew, and began venting frustration over the fact they would only be meeting with the congressman behind closed doors, Kratovil’s aides suggested he switch to a town hall format.

By the end of the 90 minute town hall -- which Kratovil told the crowd was his fourth interaction with constituents that day -- the congressman looked exasperated. He was hounded by jeers all the way out to his car.

I Got an Email from Obama - He's Asking for his "Mob" to Activate

I got this in my email today. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this is a directive from the President to "get in people's faces", organize a mob, astroturf, etc. I don't know. This seems like agitating to me.

Let me see. Opponents of the President's health care plans are "mobs" but these people are what? Minions? Dupes? Stooges? Blackshirts?

Here's the email:

From: President Barack Obama info@barackobama.com
Date: Wed, Aug 5, 2009 at 10:24 AM
Subject: This is the moment

This is the moment our movement was built for.

For one month, the fight for health insurance reform leaves the backrooms of Washington, D.C., and returns to communities across America. Throughout August, members of Congress are back home, where the hands they shake and the voices they hear will not belong to lobbyists, but to people like you.

Home is where we’re strongest. We didn’t win last year’s election together at a committee hearing in D.C. We won it on the doorsteps and the phone lines, at the softball games and the town meetings, and in every part of this great country where people gather to talk about what matters most. And if you’re willing to step up once again, that’s exactly where we’re going to win this historic campaign for the guaranteed, affordable health insurance that every American deserves.

There are those who profit from the status quo, or see this debate as a political game, and they will stop at nothing to block reform. They are filling the airwaves and the internet with outrageous falsehoods to scare people into opposing change. And some people, not surprisingly, are getting pretty nervous. So we’ve got to get out there, fight lies with truth, and set the record straight.

That’s why Organizing for America is putting together thousands of events this month where you can reach out to neighbors, show your support, and make certain your members of Congress know that you’re counting on them to act.

But these canvasses, town halls, and gatherings only make a difference if you turn up to knock on doors, share your views, and show your support. So here’s what I need from you:

Can you commit to join at least one event in your community this month?

In politics, there’s a rule that says when you ask people to get involved, always tell them it’ll be easy. Well, let’s be honest here: Passing comprehensive health insurance reform will not be easy. Every President since Harry Truman has talked about it, and the most powerful and experienced lobbyists in Washington stand in the way.

But every day we don’t act, Americans watch their premiums rise three times faster than wages, small businesses and families are pushed towards bankruptcy, and 14,000 people lose their coverage entirely. The cost of inaction is simply too much for the people of this nation to bear.

So yes, fixing this crisis will not be easy. Our opponents will attack us every day for daring to try. It will require time, and hard work, and there will be days when we don’t know if we have anything more to give. But there comes a moment when we all have to choose between doing what’s easy, and doing what’s right.

This is one of those times. And moments like this are what this movement was built for. So, are you ready?

Please commit now to taking at least one action in your community this month to build support for health insurance reform:

http://my.barackobama.com/CommitAugust

Let’s seize this moment and win this historic victory for our economy, our health and our families.

Thank you,

President Barack Obama
This email just hours after The White House accused opposition to Obama's health care plan at town hall meeting of being "manufactured".

They got audacity. Of course, they also have our money, our army and our media. So, you know, having audacity is pretty easy.
