Rep. Doggett Calls Obamacare Protesters a "Mob"

A quick follow up to a post by HowEDoThat. HowE posted this video showing protesters letting the "representative" know exactly what they think.

This was the representative's response:

Rep. Lloyd Doggett's office is calling the protesters who swarmed him in Austin over the weekend a "mob," and blaming the chaos on the local libertarian and Republican activists.

Here's Doggett's response to the protesters at his event, sent to my colleague Alex Isenstadt:

"This mob, sent by the local Republican and Libertarian parties, did not come just to be heard, but to deny others the right to be heard. And this appears to be part of a coordinated, nationwide effort. What could be more appropriate for the "party of no" than having its stalwarts drowning out the voices of their neighbors by screaming "just say no!"
Of course. Just dismiss it. Please sir. Could you just go ahead and list the liberal initiatives we can challenge? Just so we'll know if you're going to call us names are not. Yeah. Just go ahead and list those things we can say "no" to.
