EPA Admits U.S. Action to Combat Global Warming Would Have No Effect

And it took these clowns how long and how much money to come to this conclusion?

Washington, D.C.-During a hearing today in the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, EPA Administrator Jackson confirmed an EPA analysis showing that unilateral U.S. action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions would have no effect on climate. Moreover, when presented with an EPA chart depicting that outcome, Energy Secretary Steven Chu said he disagreed with EPA's analysis.

"I believe the central parts of the [EPA] chart are that U.S. action alone will not impact world CO2 levels," Administrator Jackson said.
I'll go one better, and apply common sense, and tell you that if the U.S. were to enact even more stringent environmental regulations, it would result in further relocation of manufacturing to India and China and actually increase whatever detrimental effects are blamed on industry.

And note: Obama's environmental Czar disagrees with the EPA. Of course he does. How can he increase taxes and control if it's proven there's no chance to slay the bogeyman?

By the way, China and India are not on board with any meaningful climate regulations.
The G8 agreed on Wednesday to try to limit global warming to 2 degrees Celsius and cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent, but it failed to persuade China and India to join a bid to halve world emissions.
