Happy Early 4th of July

Today I got the day off...God bless America...I've been real busy...Pork shoulder is marinating nicely...a mixture of apples and various spices....Soon I will slow smoke it, fat side up, over a low burning bed of charcoal and moist apple wood...It will take me 6 hours...which allows for quite a bit of beer to be consumed...I took the kids to the big fireworks tent...They offer a free camel ride if you buy more than $50 of fireworks....My kids didn't get to ride the camel...But I did buy some smoke bombs, black cats, pooping chickens, sparklers, black snakes, and a crap load of them firecracker tanks I love so much...Tonight, the kids will think I'm God...but God will know I'm just a drunk with a lighter
