The invasion could be up to a decade away. At least for those of us who live in 5 story walk-ups. Be safe. The outcome of this video is so horrific, the organizers see fit to wheel a partition in front of the ghoulish result. Shiver!

This is Not Good: Chinese Farmer Building an Army of Robots
Sure, they look like Mr. Potato Head on steroids, but can't you just see these things making their way down the Alaskan highway to the continental United States? Each one pulling a "central planner" in its rickshaw? Think about that the next time you indulge your crab rangoon habit. Where do you think all that money from Chinese buffets goes?
A Chinese farmer with very little education has built 26 robots over the past 30 years. His love and obvious talent for technology has inspired him to design these robots and build them literally from scrap materials. Here's a video report:
Wu Yulu, 46, has been thinking about building robots from the time he was eleven years of age. While sitting on his doorstep watching villagers pass by, he came up with the idea of building a machine that walks like a man.
Wu's home is near Beijing and he has plunged his family into debt by spending up to two-thirds of his monthly income on his robot creations. He has been forced to sell some of them to pay bills.
Wu considers all the robots as his sons, and has names for them according to the order in which they were invented, ranging from Wu No.1 to Wu No.26.
They are all my sons, so they must bear my surname, said Wu.
Don't think things can't go totally wrong. Perhaps you've heard about what happened in America in the mid 50s when an Idaho auto mechanic was also building robots in his spare time.
