Several More Mass Graves of Children Found in Iraq

"“The graves are holding remnants of children from both Chamchamal and Garmyan areas”. Sayd Fazil Amin the head of KRG martyrs office in Kirkuk told ASO, these kids were taken into captivity during 1988 Anfal campaign against the Kurds.

Anfal genocide was a campaign against the Kurds in 1980s. It was aimed at the elimination of the Kurds in Iraq, by destroying and burning Kurdish villages down. Killing and burying alive the people of these villages. It costed over 200,000 lives of innocent Kurds.

...A group of experts from ministry of Anfaled and Martyrs are to excavate these graves soon. The graves hold remnants of 272 children and the oldest one among them is a 16 year old girl. A pregnant woman is also among them, added Amin."

Too bad we overthrew Hussein under false pretenses. Obviously, there's no way he had weapons of mass destruction. And there's no way Russia allowed those nonexistent weapons to be smuggled into Syria under diplomatic auspices. 'Cause bad things just don't happen.

Fox News Snookered by Weather Scientists

Was anyone else glued to the boob tube today waiting to see the terrible wave bearing down on Hawaii? The scientists had it timed down to the minute of its strike. The tsunami never happened; basically a fart in a windstorm. Al Gore must have been involved somehow.

I'm listening to Geraldo Rivera try to explain it away. On a two hour show. About nothing. This is as relevant as he's been in years. The man is a horrible waste of noise. With a mustache.

Christian gets Life Sentence for Hurting Muslims' Religious Feelings

"Qamar David, a Christian in the dock on charges of blasphemy, was sentenced to life imprisonment. The basis of the ruling, issued on Feb. 25, the fact that the man "hurt the religious feelings" of Muslims; however, the co-defendant was acquitted for lack of evidence. The police had arrested the man in 2006, although there was no evidence against him."

I believe Mr. David meets the criteria of a Christian martyr. The U.S. government can't choose religious sides, but American Christians can. I, for one, will buy no more cheap Pakistani knives or swords.

How many of our tax dollars go the Pokeestahn every year? How long have we been propping up that Taleban-loving, America-hating government? Why has no one in the main-stream media investigated Obama's time in Pakistan (traveling with his Pakistani roommate) using an Indonesian passport?

Castro Brothers Trade Slave Doctors for Oil

"But in 2003, Castro went big, and shipped 20,000 doctors and nurses to Venezuela's jungles and slums to treat the poor, doing the work "selfish" private-sector doctors wouldn't. Hugo Chavez touted this line and the mainstream media followed.

Now the ugly facts are getting out about what that really meant: indentured servitude to pay off the debts of a bankrupt regime.

This week, seven escaped doctors and a nurse filed a 139-page complaint in Miami under the RICO and Alien Tort acts describing just how Cuba's oil-for-doctors deal came to mean slavery.

The Cuban medics were forced to work seven days a week, under 60-patient daily quotas, in crime-riddled places with no freedom of movement. Cuban military guards known as "Committees of Health" acted as slave catchers to ensure they didn't flee.

Doctors earned about $180 a month, a salary so low many had to beg for food and water from Venezuelans until they could escape.

...That's because their labor was tied to an exchange: Castro took 100,000 barrels of oil each day from Venezuela's state oil company in exchange for uncompensated Cuban labor.

Most of the oil was then sold for hard currency, bringing in cash. Cuba also charged Venezuela $30 per patient visit, meaning a $1,000 daily haul per doctor. But the doctors never saw any of it.

...That ought to be lesson to those who seek to reform medical care in the U.S. on the backs of doctors. Free medical care is never free."

Heel!

Something stinks in New York and it ain't the Hudson River.

New York Governor David Paterson announced today that he will not be seeking re-election in light of escalating scandals surrounding him and his political team.  I can't say I'm very surprised, but after the Eliot Spitzer scandal broke, one hoped that his replacement would embody the ethics, morals and values we should expect from those who represent us politically.  But, I guess in the land of the morally challenged (see: Rangel, Clinton, Meeks, Monserrate, Parker) trying to find someone of worth might be like trying to find good grits and fried okra on 5th Avenue.

Anyway, I guess in the long run, Paterson simply heeded the request of his master in the White House like a good dog should. . .

How bout them Photoshop skills???  Booyah!

Libya's Gaddafi Urges Jihad Against Switzerland

"Any Muslim in any part of the world who works with Switzerland is an apostate, is against (the Prophet) Mohammad, God and the Koran," Gaddafi said during a meeting in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi to mark the Prophet's birthday.

"The masses of Muslims must go to all airports in the Islamic world and prevent any Swiss plane landing, to all harbors and prevent any Swiss ships docking, inspect all shops and markets to stop any Swiss goods being sold," Gaddafi said."

"Libya's relations with Switzerland broke down in 2008 when a son of Gaddafi was arrested in a Geneva hotel and charged with abusing domestic servants.

He was released shortly afterwards and the charges were dropped, but Libya cut oil supplies to Switzerland, withdrew billions of dollars from Swiss bank accounts and arrested two Swiss businessmen working in the North African country."

Just look upon that sweet countenance. He's obviously Mr. Reasonable. Why did President Reagan try to drop bombs on his head?

Trash Talking with the Taliban

Pretty lame trash talk.

I came across the astonishing facet of the Afghan War while spending time with the 302nd kandak, or battalion, of the Afghan National Army. The foes chatter with each other over their Vietnam-era, two-way radio system. It's such an antiquated system that the Taliban and the Afghan forces share radio frequencies, and verbal barbs, as they try to kill or capture one another. I asked Maj. Said Rahim Hakmal what they talk about. Politics, he said. "The Taliban will say things like why do you side with the Americans? Why do you sell out your country? You love Obama more than Afghanistan."

Hakmal said the standard response goes something like, "The Americans are here to help our country function again. They don't want to stay. They want to help, then leave. You should help, too." Then the shooting starts.

The Stuff You Find on the Internet

Summary: Old white guy was going to Frisco to get some weed, drunk black guy flipped him some lip on the AC transit and then took a swing at the old man, Old white guy kicked his ass.  The old man goes by "Vietnam Tom", a Vietnam war veteran.

The funniest part of this video is the sistas taping the fight urging him to "beat his white ass" and then hollering in outrage when he instead, gets his ass whooped.

Here's the combatants giving their side of the story.

It's Been Way too Long Since We Had Some Music on this Blog

FBI Raids Toyota's Suppliers

"The FBI is confirming raids at the offices of three Michigan auto suppliers who do work for Toyota.

Search warrants were served Tuesday evening at Yazaki North America, DENSO International and Tokai Rika. Yazaki sells electronic components and DENSO makes accelerator pedals.

Law enforcement sources say the raids are part of an ongoing anti-trust investigation of the companies. They say this is not a criminal investigation and not related to the current acceleration problems."

I'm sure it has nothing to do with President Hopey's ongoing effort to destroy Government Motors' largest competitor.

The Short Straw

Sure is quiet around here today.  I guess our real jobs get in the way of our fake jobs from time to time.  Anyway, how y'all doin' out there Sea Kittens?

Since this blog is "the best source on the internet for news about Islamic rat people, hot dogs, and pole dancers" and I already touched on the whacko liberal assault against hot dogs yesterday, I give you some pole dancing information.  Although, it's a very short pole.

Apparently, Rihanna had a birthday party thrown by Los Angeles Dodgers outfield Matt Kemp and Mr. Kemp, being the classy and stylish kind of guy he is spared no expense for the young songstress.  He invited tons of her friends, bought a beautiful birthday cake decorated with copies of Rihanna's tattoos and lastly, for the entertainment portion of the celebration, a female stripper of teh midget variety.

Yes dear readers, class is spelled with a capital K, especially for over-paid, over-worshipped icons of the entertainment industry.  And people wonder why Rihanna got the crap beat out of her last year by whats-his-face.  You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with.  Such a pity for such a young, talented(?) woman.

Now remember, before you click through to the evidence, you cannot un-see something you've seen.  It'll be filed away forever in your memory and can occasionally hurl itself back into your consciousness at any given moment.  Like maybe, when you are choking to death on a hot dog.

Low Riding

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but for this one I am speechless.  This character was riding his bicycle right down the middle of a very busy Ellis Avenue today.

I've seen $500 hoopty-mobiles on $5000 wheels and tires, but this takes low-riding to another level.

Internal Toyota Documents Hint at Obama's Socialism

Even the Japanese know an out of control commie when they see one.

Internal Toyota documents derided the Obama administration and Democratic Congress as “activist” and “not industry friendly," a revelation that comes days before the giant automaker's top executives testify on Capitol Hill amid a giant recall. According to a presentation obtained under subpoena by the House Oversight and Government Relations committee, Toyota referred to the “changing political environment” as one of its main challenges and anticipated a "more challenging regulatory" environment under the Obama administration's purview.

Lockerbie Bomber Living in Luxury

...instead of dying, as we were led to expect.

"The man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing is living with his family in a luxury villa in Libya six months after he was released from jail on compassionate grounds because he had less than three months to live."

"The latest disclosure will incense many of the relatives of those who died in the bomb blast in December 1988 when Pan Am Flight 103 exploded in mid air over Lockerbie, Scotland, killing 243 passengers, 16 crew and 11 people on the ground."

"The source said: 'Megrahi is still the same as ever. His condition has not deteriorated. There is no sign of him dying any time yet but who knows? It's totally unpredictable.'"

Obama Must Ignore Hamid Karzai

Afghanistan's president Hamid Karzai is criticizing NATO troops for causing civilian deaths. Civilian deaths are a tragedy in war, but hardly a new phenomenon. Do we stop the fighting when cowardly Al Qaida/Taliban thugs hide behind innocent people? It's a horrible dilemma. If we hold back, they win, and retain control of these unfortunate people's lives. If we fight on, we can win their freedom - though the Taliban put them at risk of death.

Victor Davis Hansen has an insightful essay on the subject, reflecting on examples from history.

"Nevertheless, in those combat operations, the marines and army not only proved that to meet them in battle was a near death sentence, but also killed thousands of low-level terrorists and hundreds of top-ranking operatives who otherwise would have continued to harm Iraqi civilians and American soldiers. Is Iraq relatively quiet today because many who made it so violent are no longer around?

Contemporary conventional wisdom tries to persuade us that there is no such thing as a finite number of the enemy. Instead, killing them supposedly only incites others to step up from the shadows to take their places. Violence begets violence. It is counterproductive, and creates an endless succession of the enemy. Or so we are told.

We may wish that were true. But military history suggests it is not quite accurate. In fact, there was a finite number of SS diehards and kamikaze suicide bombers even in fanatical Nazi Germany and imperial Japan. When they were attrited, not only were their acts of terror curtailed, but it turned out that far fewer than expected wanted to follow the dead to martyrdom."

"In any case, the president — immune from criticism from the hard Left, which is angrier about conservative presidents waterboarding known terrorists than liberal ones executing suspected ones — has concluded that one way to win in Afghanistan is to kill as many terrorists and insurgents as possible. And while the global public will praise his kinder, gentler outreach, privately he evidently thinks that we will be safer the more the U.S. marines shoot Taliban terrorists and the more Hellfire missiles blow up al-Qaeda planners."

Go ahead and read it; you know you want to.

Where You at Al Sharpton?

Anyone heard from Al?

Durham police late Wednesday arrested the woman who four years ago falsely accused three Duke University lacrosse players of rape. Investigators said Crystal Gayle Mangum assaulted her boyfriend, set his clothes on fire in a bathtub and threatened to stab him.
Police charged her with attempted first-degree murder, five counts of arson, assault and battery, communicating threats, three counts of misdemeanor child abuse, injury to personal property, identity theft and resisting a public officer.

Taliban Using Human Shields

"MARJAH, Afghanistan – Taliban fighters holding out in Marjah are increasingly using civilians as human shields, firing from compounds where U.S. and Afghan forces can clearly see women and children on rooftops or in windows, Afghan and U.S. troops said Wednesday.

...Brig. Gen. Mohiudin Ghori, the brigade commander of Afghan troops in Marjah, said in some cases women and children may have been ordered to stand on a roof or in a window of buildings where Taliban fighters are shooting.

Ghori said troops have to decide between firing on insurgents among civilians, or advance much more slowly to keep women and children out of the crossfire.

"They are trying to get us to fire on them and kill the civilians," Ghori said."

Under the recognized rules of war, we are allowed to defend ourselves by returning fire no matter what tactics the enemy tries to use. In past wars we've bombed cities to destroy the war materiel factories located there. Our present "rules of engagement" our being used against us.

Sweet Soul Cookin' with Shonna Tucker

She so nasty...

What The Frick Is Wrong With This State

Massachusetts turns Red and North Kakalaki does someting every other day to become the new (and unwanted or needed) Massachusetts.
Now the supreme court wants to let murders and rapists out for time served.
The state of NC has proved compentent in only two things, raising taxes and raising criminals.
Allen contends that the inmates have thousands of days of good-time and gain-time credits that lower their terms to completion. Attorneys for the state concede that the inmates earned and "stored" credits but that the Department of Correction has never applied discounts to those with life terms.

If the state is forced to apply credits earned behind bars to reduce the length of sentences, more than two dozen inmates could immediately qualify for release. Many of them are convicted murderers and rapists. Many more could be released in the months and years to come.

Crazy Looking Woman Who Shot Up the College is an Obamaton

You only had to look at her picture to know that she was just bubbling with hope and change.

“She was an oddball - just not very sociable,” said Sylvia Fluckiger, a former lab technician who worked with Bishop in 1993.
Reyes confirmed he is working with the FBI to learn more about why Bishop was a suspect in the attempted bombing of Dr. Paul Rosenberg, who received a double-pipe bomb in the mail on Dec. 19, 1993. He ran from his Newton home with his wife, escaping without injury. The bomb never exploded. “She was quite cavalier about it,” Fluckiger said of Bishop’s description of her interview with police. She said Bishop “grinned” as she described being asked by cops whether she’d ever taken stamps off an envelope and fastened them onto something else. “I cannot tell you what the grin meant,” Fluckiger said.

A family source said Bishop, a mother of four children - the youngest a third-grade boy - was a far-left political extremist who was “obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting.
That's the same description once could use of Chris Matthews.

We May Need to Stop Calling Them Tree Huggers

They're taking it up a notch. Man jailed for trying to hump a tree.

A MAN who was banned from a park after it was alleged he tried to have sex with a tree in broad daylight has been jailed for five months and put on the Sex Offenders' Register for seven years. William Shaw, 22, of Airdrie, was ordered by a sheriff not to enter Central Park, Airdrie, after it was claimed he dropped his trousers and underpants, exposed himself, and while his trousers were around his ankles, simulated having sex with a tree.

The prosecutor said: "His trousers and underpants were at his ankles, he was standing at a park bench and his arms were at his side. A woman, walking her dog, was just five to ten yards away. She went over to two children who were playing and stopped them from looking. She also contacted police. There were trees in the vicinity and a football match was going on at the same time. There were numerous people in the park."

No Global Warming Since 1995

World governments have placed power grab in the hands if this guy?

The academic at the centre of the ‘Climategate’ affair, whose raw data is crucial to the theory of climate change, has admitted that he has trouble ‘keeping track’ of the information.
Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers.

Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’. The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory.

Professor Jones also conceded the possibility that the world was warmer in medieval times than now – suggesting global warming may not be a man-made phenomenon. And he said that for the past 15 years there has been no ‘statistically significant’ warming.

Progressives and the Growing Dependency Agenda

George Will shines his spotlight on the greatest danger facing our country.

"For congressional Democrats, however, expanding dependency on government is an end in itself. They began the Obama administration by expanding the State Children's Health Insurance Program. It was created for children of the working poor but the expansion made millions of middle-class children eligible -- some in households earning $125,000. The aim was to swell the number of people who grow up assuming that dependency on government health care is normal.

Many Democrats favor -- as Barack Obama did in 2003 -- a "single-payer" health insurance system, which means universal dependency on government. The "public option" insurance proposal was to be a step toward that. So was the proposed "alternative" of making 55- to 64-year-olds eligible for Medicare. Both of these dependency multipliers will be revived.

As will the Democrats' drive for "cramdown" legislation that would empower government (courts) to shred mortgage contracts, thereby making borrowers eager to embrace dependency on judges. Soon, the two most important financial decisions most families make -- to get a mortgage and a college tuition loan -- will almost always be transactions with the government.

The government used TARP funds not for their stipulated purpose of buying the "toxic assets" of banks, but to pull auto companies and other economic entities into the spreading web of dependency. Servile -- because dependent -- banks were pliable during the farce of Chrysler's bankruptcy, but secured creditors resisted when settled law was disregarded. Nevertheless, those creditors received less per dollar than did an unsecured creditor, the United Auto Workers, which relishes dependency on government as an alternative to economic realism."

Obama: Take No Prisoners - No Place to Hold 'em

"When a window of opportunity opened to strike the leader of al-Qaeda in East Africa last September, U.S. Special Operations forces prepared several options. They could obliterate his vehicle with an airstrike as he drove through southern Somalia. Or they could fire from helicopters that could land at the scene to confirm the kill. Or they could try to take him alive.

The White House authorized the second option. On the morning of Sept. 14, helicopters flying from a U.S. ship off the Somali coast blew up a car carrying Saleh Ali Nabhan. While several hovered overhead, one set down long enough for troops to scoop up enough of the remains for DNA verification. Moments later, the helicopters were headed back to the ship."

"...Although senior administration officials say that no policy determination has been made to emphasize kills over captures, several factors appear to have tipped the balance in that direction. The Obama administration has authorized such attacks more frequently than the George W. Bush administration did in its final years, including in countries where U.S. ground operations are officially unwelcome or especially dangerous."

"...Republican critics, already scornful of limits placed on interrogation of the suspect in the Christmas Day bombing attempt, charge that the administration has been too reluctant to risk an international incident or a domestic lawsuit to capture senior terrorism figures alive and imprison them."

So ... do we capture them for the information they possess, or do we simply kill them? The second strategy will fail unless we kill many of them. Shitloads. Boatloads. Wholesale lots.

Let's Roll!

A Job Can't be Done Without the Right Tool

Tired from shoveling your driveway & sidewalk? Or just tired of hearing the missus complain 'cause you tricked her into it? Real men have snowblowers ...

"If you're tired of anemic, one-lung snowblowers with their slipping drive belts, you might consider Kai Grundt's V8 snow blower which raises the bar on the traditional snow blower in every respect. With electric start, electric block heater, antifreeze heater and eight cylinders, it has no drive belts to freeze up and you'll never get bored with the job as the 454 cubic inch big block Chevrolet V8 produces 412 horsepower, 430 foot pounds of torque and can throw snow 50 feet at just 3500 rpm.

Nor will you get cold as the machine has been ingeniously designed to route the engine coolant through the handle bars, with the rear mounted, enclosed radiator keeping the operator nice and cozy. Maneuvering the massive beast (it has a total wet weight of 912 lbs) is a breeze thanks to the hydraulic-drive 4WD skid steer on independent walking beams which offers a zero turning radius. It's also as fast as you like, with an infinitely adjustable speed range on the drive wheels via dash mounted flow control. At the opposite end of the scale, it has more than enough torque to pull your car out of the ditch before the hydraulic motors stall. Adding to the well-balanced feel of the unit, just 15 pounds of down force on the handlebars will lift the auger blade off the ground in order to climb stairs/walkways for ease of snow removal."

The Taliban Rape Tapes

I was debating whether to even speak about this.  I decided I should.  As disgusting as it is, I think the more people who know about this, the better. From Big Journalism:

With breaking news out of Palestine today that a top aide to President Mahmoud Abbas has been literally caught with his pants down, rape tapes seem to be popping up all over the pious Muslim world. And some are horrifically worse than others.
Last month on the FOX Business Network, Colonel Oliver North revealed a startling piece of information. Conservative mullahs and elements within the Haqqani terror network – known as the backbone of the Taliban and Al Qaeda in the Af/Pak theater – are working to take the Haqqanis down from the inside. Their key weapon is a disturbing video that shows the serial sexual assault of several young girls.
Colonel North explained that no one in American intelligence had yet seen this video. Here it is:

Olympic Games Interfere with Socialized Medicine

"A 35-year-old Ladner, B.C., woman with end-stage liver disease says she and her doctors have been desperately trying for weeks to schedule a transplant operation at Vancouver General Hospital but without luck.

Michelle Way says she's been told the reason for the delay is because health officials decided to reduce elective surgeries during the Olympic Games.

"Because my liver transplant is considered elective surgery, it's gone into the cooking pot with all the other elective surgeries, even though we are in a race against time," she told CTV News Wednesday night."

Since when is a liver transplant considered elective surgery? Since the Canadian government put itself in charge of medical care.

Obama Expressed Marxist Views in College

I know you're absolutely shocked. A man who knew Obama in college sheds some light on Obama's mysterious college years. This is a remarkable read. I believe every word of it.

As a college student, Barack Obama expressed Marxist views, including the need for a new socialist U.S. government, according to a student who says he shared the future president’s opinion at the time.

Dr. John C. Drew, a grant writing consultant in Laguna Niguel, Calif., tells Newsmax he met Obama in 1980 when Obama was a sophomore at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Drew had just graduated from Occidental and was attending graduate school at Cornell University. Drew’s then girlfriend, Caroline Boss — now Grauman-Boss — knew Obama because she shared classes with him at Occidental.

During Christmas break, Drew says he was at Grauman-Boss’ home in Palo Alto when Obama came over with Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, his roommate from Pakistan. “Barack and Hasan showed up at the house in a BMW, and then we went to a restaurant together,” Drew says. “We had a nice meal, and then we came back to the house and smoked cigarettes and drank and argued politics.”

For the next several hours, they discussed Marxism. “He was arguing a straightforward Marxist-Leninist class-struggle point of view, which anticipated that there would be a revolution of the working class, led by revolutionaries, who would overthrow the capitalist system and institute a new socialist government that would redistribute the wealth,” says Drew, who says he himself was then a Marxist. “The idea was basically that wealthy people were exploiting others,” Drew says.
"That this was the secret of their wealth, that they weren’t paying others enough for their work, and they were using and taking advantage of other people. He was convinced that a revolution would take place, and it would be a good thing.”

Drew concluded that Obama thought of himself as “part of an intelligent, radical vanguard that was leading the way towards this revolution and towards this new society.”

Drew saw Obama again at a party Obama and Chandoo gave in June 1981 at the house they shared. Drew went on to become an assistant professor of political science at Williams College.

In 1981, Obama left Occidental to attend Columbia University. During that year, Obama spent “about three weeks” visiting Chandoo and his family in Karachi, Pakistan, according to the account of Obama spokesman Bill Burton during the campaign. Chandoo is now a financial consultant who was formerly a broker at Oppenheimer & Co. He has contributed to Obama’s campaign and helped raise more than $100,000 for him as a bundler. “If that’s what John Drew said, that’s what he said,” Chandoo commented. “I can’t remember Obama ever talking like that. It sounds a bit absurd to me, but that’s my opinion. I can’t remember him ever expressing an interest in being a Marxist.”

Much of what is known about Obama’s past has been revealed and defined by Obama himself, largely through his two bestselling books “Dreams from My Father” and “The Audacity of Hope.” In these works and throughout his career, Obama has clearly identified with the oppressed. In “Dreams from My Father” Obama details how white settlers and sugar companies came to dominate and exploit his native Hawaii. In that memoir, Obama said that at Occidental, “To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.”

Tell It To The Hand

Everybody seems to have a problem with Sarah Palin writing notes on her hand ...

The New Military I'll Never Understand

As a six year Vet, I'm just mofoing perplexed.

From the article:

U.S. and Afghan forces ringed the taliban stronghold of Marjah on Thursday (<-- notice my small t as it should be reported), sealing off escape routes and setting the stage for what is being described as the biggest offensive of the nine-year war.

The precise date for the attack has been kept secret. U.S. officials have signaled for weeks they planned to seize Marjah, a town of about 80,000 people in Helmand province and the biggest community in southern Afghanistan under Taliban control.

______________

You're sealing off escape routes three weeks after you told them you were coming?

That's the equivalent of the police giving a murder suspect three weeks notice they are about to come after them in their house, and oh, almost forgot, they'll be watching your back door for any escape attempts when they come.

"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin was rushed to a Manhattan hospital overnight after a caller believed to be his daughter dialed 911 to say she couldn't rouse the actor. When medics got to Baldwin's Upper West Side apartment, he agreed to go to the hospital where he was treated and released after about an hour, sources told NBC New York.
Sources said it was Baldwin's daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland, who made the call, telling an operator Baldwin was unresponsive. The 911 caller expressed concern that the actor was not responding and speculated about his possibly taking pills, according to sources familiar with the incident.

How's that "Iran is a small country and not a threat" thing workin' out for ya Hopey?

Today at a massive demonstration, Iran declared they are now a nuclear state.

Judging by this poster, it seems they really respect you. Good thing you're out there influencing our enemies with your superior intellect and verbal excellence. I'll take George W. Bush and his mouthful of marbles over you any day of the week. Look at them mocking you with "change". Even this dirt-hole backwards insane asylum of a country laughs at you.

What a failure of a presidency. Anyone who voted for this moron needs to be institutionalized.

Iranians Love Obama

A scene from today's celebration in Iran, marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

CNN Analyst: "It's time for Obama to go Gangsta on the Republicans"

First. I don't think this guy or CNN should be referring to him or himself as an "analyst".  Second, what does he mean?  Seriously?  Roland Martin you are a moron.  You know, and I know, the only reason you still have a job at CNN.

Time for Obama to go 'gangsta' on GOP

By Roland S. Martin, CNN Political Analyst

Obama's critics keep blasting him for Chicago-style politics. So, fine. Channel your inner Al Capone and go gangsta against your foes. Let 'em know that if they aren't with you, they are against you, and will pay the price.
Hey numbnuts. Obama already tried to go "gangsta" That's why thousands of Americans took to the streets in protest of his policies.

The Iranian Punch - A Nuclear State

A Nuclear State"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," - Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini

10:18 PM CST - All we have is this:

Iran Disrupts Internet Service Ahead of Protests

And this -

Iran's telecommunications agency announced what it described as a permanent suspension of Google Inc.'s email services, saying a national email service for Iranian citizens would soon be rolled out.
State Department spokesman PJ Crowley responded to the GMAIL announcement Wednesday with this statement: "While information technologies are enabling people around the world to communicate like never before, the Iranian government seems determined to deny its citizens access to information, the ability to express themselves freely, network and share ideas. Virtual walls won't work in the 21st century any better than physical walls worked in the 20th century. The Iranian people are dynamic and determined and will find a way to overcome the obstacles the Iranian government puts in their way."
Stopping using Google's services and replacing it with some Jihadist search engine can't be the big "punch".  Can it?  Like people can't just sign up for Yahoo.

Oh, here it is.  I slept right through it.

Iran is now a 'nuclear state', President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced this morning. As Gordon Brown warned that the world's patience is wearing thin, Ahmadinejad told scores of cheering Iranians that the Islamic Republic is capable of producing weapons-grade uranium.
He spoke as tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Tehran to mark the 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.
Despite fears of violence, opposition supporters found themselves largely overwhelmed by the clerical regime and pro-government demonstrators.
The massive security clampdown appeared to succeed in preventing protesters from converging into a cohesive demonstrations.

Whatever.  I thought we knew this already.

A marvelous music video from Minnesotans for Global Warming

Which is it? - Global Warming Causes More Snow vs. Global Warming Causes Less Snow

Two videos that demonstrate the left's willingness to lie through their teeth to scare you. Someone's lying. Is it the more snow contingent? The less snow contingent? Or both?

Report: John Edwards Has Proposed to Mistress

You know, the one he never slept with, the one whose child he did not father.  This is nothing but a lame attempt to keep that rumored sex tape under wraps.

John Edwards has proposed to his mistress Rielle Hunter, and is buying a luxury $3.5 million beachfront home where they can live happily ever after with their love child, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

The disgraced presidential candidate popped the question at the same time he told Rielle that he'd be issuing a press statement finally confirming he fathered her daughter Frances Quinn, close sources told The ENQUIRER.

Crib Notes Technology Cost Analysis

I saw this over at Zombie.  Too good not to share.

Barack Obama and Sarah Palin each have their own unique crib notes technology. The two diagrams below analyze how much each type of technology costs per speech.

Muslim "Chaplain" Who Tried to Smuggle Razors into Prison Not Charged by Grand Jury

First, enough with calling this guy a "chaplain". He's an Imam. And an ex-con.

A Manhattan grand jury voted Tuesday not to charge a Muslim jail chaplain with trying to sneak razors into a city jail, his defense lawyer said.
An ex-con who served time for a 1976 murder, Zulqarnain Abdu-Shahid told a grand jury that he'd forgotten the potential weapons were in his duffel bag, his lawyer said.
Abdu-Shahid, 58, was busted when a metal detector revealed he had straight razors and scissors in his bag as he reported to work at the Manhattan Detention Complex last week.
Second, his bongo playing alone is enough to put him behind bars (thanks to Nesho for finding the video). Yes, that really is box cutter boy on the bongos.

Choo Choo!

I love trains.  They are fascinating machines; loud and lumbering giants; whirligigs of fantastic motion and noise that represent the ingenuity of man's ability to problem solve.  The first "locomotive" was invented by a giant in his own right, Richard Trevithick of Tregajorran, Cornwall, and his steam powered "Puffing Devil", in the Year of Our Lord, 1801, hauled several men through a few English villages, probably scaring the bee-geebers out of the local populace, before they crashed through a gulley and the machine burned up.  I wonder if alcohol consumption had anything to do with it?

Move forward to modern times and we find that trains are as ubiquitous as doughnut holes and meat goat farms, ignored and maligned, but the usefulness of a train, is still and without question, irreplaceable.  How else can you move millions of tons of goods from one end of the country to the other for such a low cost value?  Answer is:  you can't.

Over the years, there have been many a colossal confrontation:  Roe v. Wade,  Kramer v. Kramer,  Tyson v. Holyfield,  Man v. Food.  But never, Train v. Tornado, until now.

You Do Not Want To Marry Her

Sharia Court Annuls Marriage After Husband Finds Out that Burqa Wearing Wife is Cross-Eyed and Has a Beard

That's what you get when you go messing with Sasquatch.

An Arabic country's ambassador to Dubai has had his marriage contract annulled after discovering the bride was cross-eyed and had facial hair.
The woman had worn an Islamic veil, known as the niqab, on the few occasions the couple had met. The envoy, who has not been identified, told a Sharia court her mother had tricked him by showing him pictures of the bride's sister, Gulf News reported.
He only discovered the deception when he lifted the woman's veil to kiss her.

It's enough to give a man the Burka Blues...

Lap Dances for Haiti

I think it's more interesting that the club manager's name is Soprano. Bada Bing!

Scantily clad dancers were the draw at a downtown men's entertainment club over the weekend for an event that raised nearly $1,000 for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
Marilyn's on Monroe, 715 Monroe St., billed Saturday's affair as "Lap dances for Haiti." Although the billing may be misleading - lap dancing is illegal in Ohio - the intention isn't.
General Manager Kenny Soprano said Sunday the club donated all the money from the day's regular $10 cover charge to International Services of Hope, or ISOH/IMPACT, of Waterville.

80% of Wind Power Jobs Going to Foreign Companies

Smartest administration ever.

Nearly $2 billion in money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has been spent on wind power, funding the creation of enough new wind farms to power 2.4 million homes over the past year. But the study found that nearly 80 percent of that money has gone to foreign manufacturers of wind turbines. "Most of the jobs are going overseas," said Russ Choma at the Investigative Reporting Workshop. He analyzed which foreign firms had accepted the most stimulus money. "According to our estimates, about 6,000 jobs have been created overseas, and maybe a couple hundred have been created in the U.S."

Framing is Crucial

Two very different captions for the same scene - it all depends on who writes the caption. Reuters describes it as an Israeli cop struggling with a "youth". AP has more detail: A stone-throwing rioter attempts to take a policeman's weapon. Reuters gets it's content from a Palestinian "stringer". And fix your wide-open orbs on the "stones" they're throwing; some the size of a man's head, dropped from above.

North Carolina Town Bans Guns and Booze...Because of Snow

No word if school was canceled...

Residents in King were fumed over the weekend after a state of emergency declaration restricted the sale of alcohol and the carrying of firearms in vehicles.
King Police Chief Paula May said she’s received hundreds of threats related to the restrictions, which banned driving from 12 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m.
Under North Carolina law, May said, when a state of emergency is put into place that includes a ban on driving, the sale of alcohol and carrying of firearms in vehicles is also banned.
May told WXII reporter Jermont Terry. “By law, statue 14-288.7 automatically went into effect. And that law which goes into effect when there’s a state of emergency prohibits the transportation, purchase sale and possession of firearms other than on one's own premises.”
The news of the ban created a firestorm of criticism. “This is absolutely the craziest thing I have ever heard. So far fetched that I am speechless!” one post on WXII12.com read.
“This has to be the most ridiculous event of the century!!!!! This is the ultimate denial of liberties for the most asinine reason...bad weather!!!” another poster wrote.
May said officers did pull people over who were in violation of the curfew driving ban, but no tickets were issued.
May wouldn’t give details on the types of threats other than to say they had been phoned, faxed and e-mailed.

Obama Adminstration's Climate Change Face to Face Cancelled Due to Blizzard

Doesn't mean they still won't tell you that the earth is becoming an inferno. This just means that they have to find someone to clear all the snow from in front of their door first.

As D.C. continued to dig out from Snowmageddon and is keeping an eye on another storm system, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was busy making a climate change announcement.
Turns out the release was planned prepared ahead of the snowstorm, which shut federal agencies today and forced its senders to hold a press conference by telephone instead of at the National Press Club.
It’s not the first time inclement weather has put a chill on official efforts to tackle climate change. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had to leave the Copenhagen summit early in December to get back to D.C. before the blizzard known as Snowpocalypse grounded all flights.

Tim Tebow Controversy Highlights an Incovenient Truth

Everybody's all wee-weed up about Pam Tebow not killing her son when she had the chance. They refuse to look at those countries where abortion is routinely used to choose a child's sex, such as India or China. This leads (as we've previously pointed out) to a huge gender imbalance, with males being favored, and females being increasingly absent. Such a state of affairs cannot be good for the surviving women - they may become a "scarce resource" to be fought over, with no chance of self-determination.

Sadly, this is the ultimate result of "feminist" ("pro-choice") policies; fewer feminists.

A Plan to Repair Our Economy

South Carolina Now Requiring "Subversives" to Register

$5 to overthrow the government. That's a bargain considering how much we have to pay to keep the government running. No folks. This is not satire.

Terrorists who want to overthrow the United States government must now register with South Carolina's Secretary of State and declare their intentions -- or face a $25,000 fine and up to 10 years in prison.
The state's "Subversive Activities Registration Act," passed last year and now officially on the books, states that "every member of a subversive organization, or an organization subject to foreign control, every foreign agent and every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States ... shall register with the Secretary of State."
 There's even a $5 filing fee.
