Federal Government Expects There to be a Lot of Crying, Drinking, Anger and Substance Abuse Due to Economy: Offers Tips to Cope

This is nothing short of incredible. Just stunning. SAMSHA has issued a guide for "Getting Through Tough Economic Times". Included in the guide are the warning signs you should be aware during the upcoming financial crisis:

* Persistent Sadness/Crying
* Excessive Anxiety
* Lack of Sleep/Constant Fatigue
* Excessive Irritability/Anger
* Increased drinking
* Illicit drug use, including misuse of medications
* Difficulty paying attention or staying focused
* Apathy - not caring about things that are usually important to you
* Not being able to function as well at work, school or home
Let me help our government out here and add a few other "warning signs" that may clue you in on the fact that Obama is running our economy in the ground:
*You come home and find the Sheriff and all your furniture in your yard
*Your key doesn't unlock the door to your house and a Chinaman is yelling at you from inside telling you that if you don't go away, he's "gonna carr the crops"
*You supplement your Ramen noodle soup with gravel
*It's October 25, and you still haven't changed from analog to digital
The SAMSHA guide continues by advising of "Possible health risks" of the Obama economy include:
* Depression
* Anxiety
* Compulsive Behaviors (over-eating, excessive gambling, spending, etc.)
* Substance Abuse
But how do you deal with the hard times? Well, SAMSHA has an answer for that too.
* Trying to keep things in perspective - recognize the good aspects of life and retain hope for the future.
* Strengthening connections with family and friends who can provide important emotional support.
* Engaging in activities such as physical exercise, sports or hobbies that can relieve stress and anxiety.
* Developing new employment skills that can provide a practical and highly effective means of coping and directly address financial difficulties.
I am absolutely floored. This is NOT a joke. This is nothing short of Nanny State propaganda. A blatant, albeit piss poor, attempt at collective ass-wiping. What sort of useless individual sits in their government office, pens this shit, posts it on the web, and thinks it's a good idea?

I am not a surrender monkey. But people, if you read this and come away with any other feeling other than fatalism, you let me know.
