Van Jones Resigns

Score another small victory for the conservative blogosphere. Obama's communist, racist, anti-American, truther green czar is history. And the mainstream liberal media has yet to report about him.

President Barack Obama's adviser Van Jones has resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements, the White House said early Sunday.

Sticking with our theme of the Obama administration and the movies, I'd say this little clip best summarizes Van Jones' ouster. Jones being the dude who wants his bike back.



The real tragedy is that this man, Van Jones, his past and his goals, have gone completely unnoticed by the American public at large. It appears the White House has mastered the art of avoiding controversy by taking advantage of the media's unwillingness to report the truth by quashing the truth before it ever comes to light. Hey Dan Rather. Isn't that dangerous or something?

Van says he was smeared. That it's all lies.

"On the eve of historic fights for health care and clean energy, opponents of reform have mounted a vicious smear campaign against me," Jones, special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, said in a statement announcing his resignation just after midnight Saturday. "They are using lies and distortions to distract and divide."

He continued: "I have been inundated with calls -- from across the political spectrum -- urging me to 'stay and fight.' But I came here to fight for others, not for myself. I cannot in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. We need all hands on deck, fighting for the future."

Yet he resigned. Listen my American hating brother. It ain't lies when it comes straight from your own fat commie mouth.

Video: Democrat Lawmaker Runs Over Cyclist

They drive like they govern.

The Madison city attorney says more charges are unlikely against a state lawmaker who ran a red light last month and slammed into a bicyclist.

State Rep. Fred Clark, a Democrat from Baraboo, was ticketed for running the red light. The cyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Van Jones Featured on Hate-Filled, Anti-American Music Album

Everyday it's something even more offensive from Obama's green czar. And the mainstream media hasn't touched any of it. Not a bit of it. This from Verum Serum:

At the risk of piling on, I made a discovery of my own related to Jones’ past. As has been detailed elsewhere, Jones was the founder and long-time executive director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. One of the Center’s projects that Jones was involved in has been little noted or discussed at this stage: a record label sponsored by the Center called Freedom Fighter Music. The label appears to have been created in the 2002-3 timeframe, and to have fizzled out by 2005-6. And apparently, Freedom Fighter only produced 2 or 3 albums.

However, one of these albums was an anti-Iraq-war compilation album that caught my attention because it was narrated by Mumia Abu Jamal, a Black Panther Party activist who is on death row for murdering a Philadelphia police officer in 1981. One of the controversies over Jones this week has been his prior statements and activity in support of Jamal.

I managed to track down an MP3 of the full album entitled WarTimes: Reports from the Opposition. And lo and behold, not only did Jones run the organization which sponsored the creation of this album, but he is also featured on the album itself. I created a highlight clip featuring Mumia Abu Jamal and some of the more outrageous song lyrics (NSFW WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE). The clip featuring the short interview with Jones begins at about 3:45…but the whole clip is worth a listen, IMO.

Yeah. Does that "crack fiend for oil" line sound familiar? You know something? Fuck Van Jones and the hate-filled horse he rode in on.

let there be no further doubt...We have a video that "celebrities" wanted your children to watch. This is just outrageous in its fascist intent.

A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."

Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called "I pledge" on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, "Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other." The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.

Here’s some of the “pledges” made by celebrities in the video.

“I promise to make sure that senior citizens have access to healthcare.”

“I pledge to advance stem cell research.”

There’s no doubt that pedophiles would appreciate this next pledge:

“I pledge to show more love to strangers.”

And this:

“I pledge to sell a culture of intelligence, rather than ignorance.”

“I pledge my services to Barack Obama.”

The video then has celebrities asking “What’s your pledge?” and “I know you got a pledge, what’s your pledge?”

The video ends with “I pledge, to be servant to our President, and all mankind.”

And Now Your Red-Green Czar "Van Jones is a Raving Dipshit" Update

Did I ever mention how much this guy pisses me off? Most of you know The Big Feed was on this guy before most everyone. Long before Beck, Drudge and the Republican party. It's all flying fast and furious. From the admitted communist's archives.

The White House is taking a mostly tight-lipped stance on an environmental adviser who made inflammatory statements in the past and is linked to efforts suggesting a governmental role in the 2001 terror attacks.

Van Jones, an administration official specializing in environmentally friendly "green jobs," issued a statement of apology on Thursday. When asked on Friday whether President Barack Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones "continues to work in the administration."

It hasn't gone unnoticed:

Rep. Mike Pence, the no. 3 Republican in the House, is calling on Obama green jobs czar Van Jones to resign.

This sort of thing would usually be laughed off by Democrats -- a conservative Republican telling a Democratic appointee to quit.

But the Obama team isn't exactly jumping to back Jones today in wake of revelations that in the past he signed on to one of the "truther" groups that claimed 9/11 was an inside job. Oh, and he called Republicans a**holes in a video earlier this year before he was appointed.
