"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

Late Monday night, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a complaint to the head of ABCNEWS:

Dear Mr. Westin:

As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with ABC's astonishing decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue on June 24, 2009. Next Wednesday, ABC News will air a primetime health care reform “town hall” at the White House with President Barack Obama. In addition, according to an ABC News report, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WORLD NEWS, NIGHTLINE and ABC’s web news “will all feature special programming on the president’s health care agenda.” This does not include the promotion, over the next 9 days, the president’s health care agenda will receive on ABC News programming.

Today, the Republican National Committee requested an opportunity to add our Party's views to those of the President's to ensure that all sides of the health care reform debate are presented. Our request was rejected. I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers.

In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime.

Obama, is a tall, slim and kind of reserved young man. He asked us what we wanted. It told him curtly. He said he can’t speak without being paid. I looked at Jack and he was perspiring.

“How much?“, I asked

“$1000!“, Came the hoarse and rude shock of a reply

“Let’s get the hell out of here!!” I told Jack..

“Wait!!” The Rasta man shot back “I will negotiate”

The Rasta man went with Obama and they negotiated and came back 15 minutes later. We were offered $200 for 5 minutes, period!!

I agreed and paid half and promised to pay the rest after the interview. He led us to the dingy, pot smoke filled room.

Inside we found four other people, two women one almost naked and two young men. All were enjoying a quiet smoke of pot. In fact we had just interrupted Gearoge Obama from what appeared to be an orgy and a pot session.

Obama said he supports his brothers presidency. He confessed that he barely communicates with him but hopes to meet him soon. Also that, he doest get any kind of support from the multimillionaire Barrack Obama.

George was emphatic that he is used to Huruma life which he called ghetto life. He is into drugs and all sorts of vices, one of his bodyguards, (the two men we found in the room) said he has tried all drugs you can mention. He eats whats found there and that he has been earning from the tons of journalists coming to see him. He boasted at a time when he said that he turned away a CNN crew which was offering him $1500 which is equivalent to kshs 100, 000.

It was incredible and we did our five minutes as we got intoxicated with the foul smoke of pot and cigarette. The George Obama associates were enjoying it and also drank some cheap gin and coke.

We left in rush, choking but shocked, is it really a brother to a man contending for the American presidency?

Kenyan police say the half brother of President Barack Obama has been arrested for possession of marijuana.

Area police chief Joshua Omokulongolo said George Obama was picked up Saturday and was being held at the Huruma police post in the capital. Omokulongolo said officers found one joint of marijuana on him.

George Obama was arrested on Friday with cannabis, known locally as bhang, and was placed in custody, a senior police officer told AFP on condition of anonymity.

"He was picked up in Nairobi's Huruma area with three other young men," the officer said, adding they were due to appear in court on Monday.

Obama and Biden Go Out for a Burger: More Media Fellatio

Sunday the mainstream media reported about Barack and Michelle holding hands. Today, this earth shattering news:

It's like this: When you want a burger, you have to have a burger.

In this state of mind, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden took a short — but wholly noticeable — motorcade ride from the White House to Virginia and pulled into a small, independent burger joint called Ray's Hell Burger.

The two leaders went right up to the counter where the meat was being grilled and ordered.

Each fetched cash from his pocket and paid, and then the pair stood like the rest and waited for their number to be called before going to a table.

Did you get that? They went right up to the counter. Just like the big boys. They got a burger and paid out of their own pocket. Just like normal people. The clown princes didn't even wear their crowns.

UPDATE: It appears that the AP wasn't the only news outlet to capture this historic moment. Politico weighed in as well.

Obama purchased burgers not only for himself and Biden, but also for several members of the press pool that tailed him to lunch across the Potomac. Cheeseburgers at Ray's retail at $7.95, and Obama deposited a $5 bill in the tip jar.

Was that $5 part of the stimulus package?

The first couple took full advantage of the cool spring night.

In one of their date nights in the District, President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama dined out for nearly two hours at a posh Georgetown restaurant.

Then they took an evening walk.

After their motorcade arrived back at the White House, the first couple wanted a private stroll. Below an overcast sky Saturday, the Obamas clasped hands and made their way down the driveway of the White House South Lawn. They came back the same way, rounding out their 8-minute walk.

Oh. Maybe I read this wrong. Perhaps it was a weather report.

Whatever the reason, Obama has seemed extraordinarily at ease as president from the day he took office — after a campaign in which he made a once skeptical electorate comfortable with the notion that a black, 47-year-old, first-term senator with limited experience could take over as the leader of the free world.

"He became presidential almost immediately. Physically as well as rhetorically he transformed himself," said American University professor James Thurber, an expert on the presidency. He said Obama had little choice but to dive in and start governing, given the full plate of issues. But, Thurber added, "He also did it with real skill and confidence that you wouldn't necessarily expect from someone who just walked in the door."

Overall, Obama seems unflappable.

Asked during a February interview with US Weekly whether he wore boxers or briefs, the new president said: "I don't answer those humiliating questions. But whichever one it is, I look good in 'em!"

We have never witnessed anything like this in America. Not in America. The world, however, has witnessed such slobbering love affairs between its leaders and the media. Look at Germany and Russia circa 1939.

All Obama Radio Sinks Faster than Ted Kennedy's Date

One day those pushing liberal radio shows are going to realize that they are not going to work unless they can figure out a way to give outs to their listeners through the radio.

President Obama may be riding high in Washington, but OBAMA 1260 is not.

The area's only progressive talk station is changing formats, dropping such syndicated liberal hosts as Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller and Bill Press in favor of financial news, starting next week.

The move by Redskins owner Dan Snyder, who purchased the station, WWRC, and others in Washington last summer, leaves the city without a liberal radio outlet. Program Director Greg Tantum says he thought the station could work because of enthusiasm over Obama, but that ratings collapsed to a level that could not be measured after the election.

But ratings nearly doubled, he says, at Snyder's conservative station, WTNT, which features Laura Ingraham and Bill Bennett. Tantum said he will move Schultz to WTNT to give him another shot.

Most Transparent Administration Ever Says: "Stop Asking Questions"

Barack Obama has promised to preside over the most transparent presidency ever. Those were his words. Well, hope in one hand, and poop in the other. See which one fills up faster.

The "Open for Questions" forum on Mr Obama's website is apparently only open to questions deemed acceptable by the committed Obama supporters who police the site and "vote" on the best enquiries.

At lunchtime today, Not a single question about Governor Rod Blagojevich's alleged attempts to sell Mr Obama's vacant Senate seat was included in the top 50 questions on the site.

Instead, questions such as "What will you do to establish transparency and safeguards against waste with the rest of the Wall Street bail-out money?" and "What will you do as President to restore the Constitutional protections that have been subverted by the Bush Administration?" were deemed the most pertinent.

Questions like "Is Obama aware of any communications in the last six weeks between Rod Blagojevich or anyone representing Rod Blagojevich and any of Obama's top aides?" and "When did you and Blagojevich last speak and about what?" could only be found by searching on key words.

Each inquiry mentioning Mr Blagojevich – even polite ones asking about "ethics legislation being crafted to actually curb corruption" – was marked: "This submission was removed because people believe it is inappropriate.

News Report of November 5 Meeting Between Obama and Blago Disappears from Website -- Obama Truth Goons Called to Arms

These disappearing web reports are starting to become standard operating procedure under the Obama regime. From American Thinker:

The President-elect told the nation yesterday that he didn't meet with his governor over appointment of a successor. Later, top aide David Axelrod confessed that when he claimed otherwise, he misspoke.

But what about this report (update: the report has been removed*) from KHQA (studios located in Quincy, IL)? dated November 5th, revealing that the PE was meeting with the Gov to discuss his successor. Carol Sowers reported the day after the election that:

Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled.

That's one of Obama's first priorities today.

He's meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon in Chicago to discuss it.

One presumes Ms. Sowers did not make this up. She must have been told by someone that the meeting was scheduled. It is of course possible that this website report is a hoax, but I don 't see any signs of that.

Perhaps the meeting was scheduled and then cancelled? If so, why? What information or other new development would cause the PEOTUS to diss his own Governor?

Luckily, you don't have to take the word of some conservative bloggers. Gateway Pundit has a screenshot of the Sowers article. Taken before the whitewashing:

Report: Obama to Adopt Aggressive Plan to Stifle Criticism

This fits the template, so I have no reason to question the report's veracity.

As we know the Obama campaign went to great lengths, and cost, to “silence the smearers” and other “distractions” during the campaign.

Now two sources from within the camp are telling me that Obama is planning to create an even more aggressive stance once he is in office.

The plan includes “punishment” to networks and other news sources that “get too close”, or investigate news that the Obama people determine are “off limits”. News organizations that violate these off limits areas will be subjected to interview “blackouts”.

Newsweek Sees Obama as the New Lincoln

It is the season to compare Barack Obama to Abraham Lincoln. Two thin men from rude beginnings, relatively new to Washington but wise to the world, bring the nation together to face a crisis. Both are superb rhetoricians, both geniuses at stagecraft and timing. Obama, like Lincoln and unlike most modern politicians, even writes his own speeches, or at least drafts the really important ones—by hand, on yellow legal paper—such as his remarkably honest speech on race during the Reverend Wright imbroglio last spring.

That, my friends, is what I am hereafter referring to as Journalist fellatio. Yeah. It means exactly what you think it means.

Surreal Blunder in Global Warming Science -- American Media Complicit in their Silence

Unbelievable. Both the "blunder", and the failure of the mainstream media to report on it. Consider this another State controlled media alert. As reported in the Telegraph:

A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

This was startling. Across the world there were reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China's official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its "worst snowstorm ever". In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.

So what explained the anomaly? GISS's computerised temperature maps seemed to show readings across a large part of Russia had been up to 10 degrees higher than normal. But when expert readers of the two leading warming-sceptic blogs, Watts Up With That and Climate Audit, began detailed analysis of the GISS data they made an astonishing discovery. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all. Figures from the previous month had simply been carried over and repeated two months running.

A GISS spokesman lamely explained that the reason for the error in the Russian figures was that they were obtained from another body, and that GISS did not have resources to exercise proper quality control over the data it was supplied with. This is an astonishing admission: the figures published by Dr Hansen's institute are not only one of the four data sets that the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) relies on to promote its case for global warming, but they are the most widely quoted, since they consistently show higher temperatures than the others.

If there is one scientist more responsible than any other for the alarm over global warming it is Dr Hansen, who set the whole scare in train back in 1988 with his testimony to a US Senate committee chaired by Al Gore. Again and again, Dr Hansen has been to the fore in making extreme claims over the dangers of climate change. (He was recently in the news here for supporting the Greenpeace activists acquitted of criminally damaging a coal-fired power station in Kent, on the grounds that the harm done to the planet by a new power station would far outweigh any damage they had done themselves.)
