"Nobody Deserves a Death Like This"

More than a week ago we reported on the horrendous murder of a white marine and his black wife by 4 black marines. We now have an update. As the story went:

A Brooklyn-raised Marine sergeant and his new bride were tortured and killed execution-style in their California home - allegedly by four other Marines under his command.

Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak, who was raised in Bensonhurst, and his wife, Quiana, were found bound and gagged in the ransacked house, each shot in the head.

And now, this update from the Daily News:

A stack of wedding thank-you cards were waiting to be mailed when four Marines allegedly burst into the California home of Brooklyn-bred Sgt. Jan Pawel Pietrzak and his new bride, Quiana.

By the time the bullets hit their brains, the newlyweds had been bound and gagged, forced to endure sadistic torture - and she had been violated repeatedly, court records show.

"Nobody deserves a death like this, least of all good, young people with bright futures," Riverside County prosecutor Daniel Delimon said.

Investigators say the motive for the shocking murders was robbery, but neither Pietrzak's mother in Brooklyn nor his in-laws near San Diego believe that.

"Nobody does something like this to human beings just to rob them," said Henryka Pietrzak-Varga. "They wanted to hurt them."

Quiana Jenkins-Pietrzak's father said he's heard talk that the Marines - all of whom are black - visited pain on his gorgeous 26-year-old daughter because she was black and Pietrzak was white. But he's not ready to accept that horrible possibility.

Investigators are also checking whether one of the accused Marines, Lance Cpl. Tyrone Miller, had ties to the violent Crips gang.

Born in Poland and raised in Bensonhurst, the strikingly handsome Pietrzak, 24, had served for a year in Iraq and escaped without being wounded. Pietrzak's luck ran out last month when two Marines he worked with at Miramar Air Station in San Diego - Miller, 20, and Pvt. Emrys John, 18 - and two others, burst into the couples' five-bedroom home, police said.

After allegedly killing the Pietrzaks, they made off with Quiana's engagement ring, the sergeant's digital camera and other wedding gifts. They left behind the expensive telescope that Pietrzak had bought for himself - and which he used to study the stars, sources said.

Some of the stolen items were found later at the accused Marines' barracks at Camp Pendleton.

When Pietrzak failed to show up for work, his superiors contacted the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Deputies arriving at the Pietrzak home found the door unlocked and the couple dead in the living room.

None of the suspects has entered a plea. They have already ratted out John as the triggerman who shot the Pietrzaks in the back of their heads, prosecutors said.

All the suspects admit that Quiana was sexually assaulted, but with a possible death penalty hanging over their heads, none is admitting to attacking her.

Pvt. Kesuan Sykes, 21, whose nickname is Psycho, has admitted cutting off the woman's clothes, according to court records. The fourth Marine was identified as Pvt. Kevin Cox, 20.

Seven days after the murders, Cox wrote on his Facebook page that he was "stressin' the F- out :( ."

And this, the mother of the murdered marine has written a letter asking for Obama's help. This is sad as she is asking for Obama to help by bringing change. But as you will see, crime rates will increase in an Obama administration. I will guarantee you that.

Marines Ban Father of Serviceman Killed on USS Cole from Expressing Opposition to Islamic Terrorism

Jesse Nieto is a 25-year Marine veteran whose honorable service to our nation included two combat tours in Vietnam. His youngest son, Marc, and 16 of Marc’s shipmates were killed on October 12, 2000, by Islamic terrorists who bombed the USS Cole. Nieto has worked as a civilian employee at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina since 1994.

Since 2001, Nieto has displayed various decals on his vehicle expressing anti-terrorist sentiments, such as “Remember the Cole, 12 Oct 2000,” “Islam=Terrorism,” and “We Died, They Rejoiced.” On July 31, 2008, two military police officers (MPs) issued Nieto a ticket for displaying “offensive material.”

In mid-August, after Nieto refused to remove all “offending” decals from his vehicle, the Base Magistrate issued Nieto a written order, ordering him to remove his vehicle from the base until all decals were removed and banning his vehicle from all other federal installations. The order in effect prevented Nieto from driving his vehicle to Arlington National Cemetery (a federal installation) to visit the grave of his fallen son.

As a result of the Marine Corps’ action, the Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this week filed a federal lawsuit against the Camp Lejeune Commanding Officer and the Base Magistrate on behalf of Nieto in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. The civil rights lawsuit challenges the military’s ban on Nieto’s speech on the basis that it violates Nieto’s constitutional rights to freedom of speech and the equal protection of the law. Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, commented, “The banning of these decals is political correctness run amuck in the military. Our troops are being killed by Islamic terrorists, 9/11 was caused by Islamic terrorists, these terrorists want to destroy America, the Islamic countries persecute Christians, and now the military is victimizing a father whose son was killed by Islamic terrorists while serving our nation.”

Continued Thompson, “I suspect the next thing the Marine command will want to do is eliminate the Marine’s Hymn since the phrase ‘to the shores of Tripoli’ celebrates the Marine victory over Islamic forces in the Barbary Coast War and the Battle of Derne.”

The family of one of the men who was shot by a retired United States Marine while they attempted to rob a Subway sandwich shop said the customer shouldn't have pulled the trigger.

According to Plantation police, two armed men barged into the Subway at 1949 Pine Island Road shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday, demanding money from the employee behind the counter. When they tried to force John Lovell into the bathroom, he pulled out a gun and shot both men, police said.

Donicio Arrindell, 22, was shot in the head and later died at the hospital. Fredrick Gadson, 21, was shot in the chest and ran from the Subway, but police found him in hiding in some bushes on the property of a nearby BankAtlantic.

Lovell, 71, was the lone customer at the time. Police said he had a concealed weapons permit.

Gadson's grandparents told Local 10 on Thursday that Lovell was wrong for pulling the trigger.

"He should not have taken the law in his hands," said Rosa Jones, Gadson's grandmother.

But Lovell's neighbor said he made the right decision.

"He did the right thing," said Wendi Hill. "I mean, I was glad that it was them that got shot and not him."

Police said Lovell, a retired Marine, wouldn't be charged.

Oh yay! They've managed to combine two of the biggest groups of fools on the planet - Code Pink and people who practice witchcraft. Like a reterded Reese's Cup.

Code Pink is now resorting to witchcraft to beef up the number of its supporters protesting a controversial Marine Corps Recruiting Center in Berkeley, Calif.

The women's anti-war group has told ralliers to come equipped with spells and pointy hats Friday for "witches, crones and sirens" day, the last of the group's weeklong homage to Mother's Day.

The group's week of themed protests, which included days to galvanize grannies and bring-your-daughter-to-protest, appears to have done little to boost its flagging numbers.

These people are giving insane pink witches a bad name.

"Donald Mates, an Iwo Jima veteran, told the Business & Media Institute on April 17 that using that photograph for that cause was a “disgrace.”

“It’s an absolute disgrace,” Mates said. “Whoever did it is going to hell. That’s a mortal sin. God forbid he runs into a Marine that was an Iwo Jima survivor.”

Mates also said making the comparison of World War II to global warming was erroneous and disrespectful.

“The second world war we knew was there,” Mates said. “There’s a big discussion. Some say there is global warming, some say there isn’t. And to stick a tree in place of a flag on the Iwo Jima picture is just sacrilegious.”
