OBAMA CLAIMS HE THOUGHT AYERS WAS REHABILITATED

On September 11, 2001, The New York Times published, "No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen" on the life of Bill Ayers.

Also in 2001, Bill Ayers also wrote about his terrorist bombings in his memoir, "Fugitive Days." It was not an apology.

Now get this... Bill Ayers was serving with Barack Obama on the Woods Fund Board in 2001.

Barack Obama said today that he thought that Bill Ayers was rehabilitated.

In an interview with the sympathetic conservative talk radio host this afternoon, Obama offered the clearest explanation yet of how an extremely careful politician allowed himself anywhere near a former '60s radical who would become a Republican target in this year's presidential campaign.

Obama "had assumed" from Bill Ayers' stature in Chicago, he told the Philadelphia-based Michael Smerconish, that Ayers had been "rehabilitated" since his 1960s crimes.

In the interview, which was taped this afternoon and will air tomorrow, and which you can listen to above, Obama recalled moving back to Chicago after law school, and becoming involved in civic life there.

"The gentleman in question, Bill Ayers, is a college professor, teaches education at the University of Illinois," he said. "That's how I met him -- working on a school reform project that was funded by an ambassador and very close friend of Ronald Reagan's" along with "a bunch of conservative businessmen and civic leaders."

"Ultimately, I ended up learning about the fact that he had engaged in this reprehensible act 40 years ago, but I was eight years old at the time and I assumed that he had been rehabilitated," Obama said.

So... Obama thought that Bill Ayers was rehabilitated while at the same time Ayers was publishing article after America-hating article on not doing enough while he was a Weatherman terrorist?

Yeah right.

And, and don't forget, Obama also said he never heard Jeremiah Wright spew anti-American racist filth.

How many times is Obama going to get away with the "I'm retarded and I didn't see nuttin'" defense? First he says he was 8 when Ayers did his terrorist stuff and didn't know about Ayers because he doesn't read the papers. Now, he's saying he thought he was "rehabilitated" which necessarily means he knew the guy was a terrorist but thought dude was cool now. Wake up America! Obama wants to give your children candy!

OBAMA TRIES TO WEASEL HIS WAY OUT OF HIS INSULTING OF SMALL TOWN AMERICA

After his spin of his insults of small town America failed miserably, Obama is now doing everything he can to re-characterize his elitist, demeaning comments about small town America. On Friday, Obama made the following statement:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them...And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

On Saturday, however, Obama tries to weasel himself away from his Freudian slip:

MUNCIE, Ind. - Democrat Barack Obama on Saturday conceded that comments he made about bitter working class voters who “cling to guns or religion” were ill chosen, as he tried to stem a burst of complaints that he is condescending.

“I didn’t say it as well as I should have,” he said.

As Obama tried to quell the furor, presidential rival Hillary Rodham Clinton hit him with one of her lengthiest and most pointed criticisms to date.

“Senator Obama’s remarks were elitist and out of touch,” she said, campaigning about an hour away in Indianapolis. “They are not reflective of the values and beliefs of Americans.”

Perhaps this nation will wake up to the fact that everything that comes from Obama's mouth, despite his constant haranguing about "one America", demonstrates that he himself sees two Americas. Obama see his America, one that he has spent remarkably little time in considering he lived abroad as a child and spent his formative years in Hawaii, and then he sees the other America. Obama's other America, as evidenced by his writings, his religion and his elitism, is an America of ignorant white racist devils clinging to God, guns and hate, who would be better served placing their faith in him and the government rather than God and one another. The truth of the matter is, he knows remarkably little about the pulse of America. His entire view of America comes from his muslim family, his racist pastor, and his marxist/communist mentors. And on Friday, Obama told the American people what he really thinks about them. No take backs bro. You own those statements.

In his speech, Obama dishonestly tries to re-characterize his statements earlier in the day. Obama now characterizes his statements as only saying that Americans were "bitter". He totally ignores the fact that he implied, earlier in the day, that small town America select their gun toting, Jesus loving, illegal immigrant concerned values only out of frustration with their government. Obama tries to bury his elitism by soliciting anger from his stupified, pineyed, messiah seeking audience. The mother of all spins. Watch:
