A) All the kids had been coerced into singing this catchy ditty, which we called "The Warming Song," at a concert for parents.

B) Further song lyrics scolded selfish adults (that would be us) for polluting our planet and causing a warming scourge that would, in no short order, kill all the polar bears and threaten the birds and bees.

 C) There was no deprogramming session on the menu. And no arguing allowed.

More than 2,000 people attended the girl's funeral Sunday. Her body was found Nov. 16 beside a rural road. Her mother, Antionette Davis, who had reported the child missing six days earlier, is charged with human trafficking and child abuse involving prostitution. Mario McNeill is charged with murder, rape and kidnapping in the case. The two are incarcerated in state prison facilities in Raleigh until their scheduled court dates - Ms. Davis on Dec. 3; Mr. McNeill on Dec. 9. "I was sitting at home watching it on the news and the story brought a tear to my eye," Mr. O'Neal told the Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper. "Being a law enforcement guy that investigates crimes against children, I wanted to be able to help in some way."

Justin Mangano, from Australia, was beaming after Al Gore signed his book Tuesday when his star-struck moment was interrupted by a protester being hauled out of the Borders bookstore in the Chicago Loop.


Gore was at the book store promoting the just released “Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis.” Fans were there to get his autograph and opponents came to challenge his message. Members of the group, We Are Change, were the most outspoken of Gore’s naysayers at the former vice president’s appearance at 150 N. State St. Gore’s security guards escorted the protesters from the store.

The We Are Change group contends that Gore’s message of global warming is a hoax, that he is a puppet of a new world order and that he is propagating a eugenics program. “We need to wake up to this now, or it’s going to be too late. They want to tax the air we breathe and the meat we eat,” said activist Saad Ali, one of about 30 protesters at the event. ‘There are 30,000 scientists trying to sue this bum,” he screamed as he was escorted from the building.

It is already clear the entire claims and positions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are based on falsified manipulated material and is therefore completely compromised. “The fallout will be extensive as material continues to emerge. Reputations of the scientists involved are already destroyed, however fringe players will continue to be identified and their reputations destroyed or sullied.” While the mainstream media is bending into pretzels to keep the scandal under the rug, Climategate is already the biggest scientific scandal in history because of the global policy implications.

The controversy surrounding the global warming scandal today deepened after a BBC correspondent admitted he was sent the leaked emails more than a month before they were made public.


Paul Hudson, weather presenter and climate change expert, claims the documents allegedly sent between some of the world's leading scientists are of a direct result of an article he wrote. In his BBC blog two days ago, Hudson said: 'I was forwarded the chain of emails on the 12th October, which are comments from some of the world's leading climate scientists written as a direct result of my article "Whatever Happened To Global Warming".'


In his blog for BBC Look North, Hudson added: 'The emails released on the internet as a result of CRU being hacked into are identical to the ones I was forwarded and read at the time and so, as far as l can see, they are authentic.'


However, Hudson does not explain why he sat on the controversial information for so long, but added: 'I do intend to write a blog regarding the CRU being hacked into, and the possible implications of this very serious affair.'

Man Goes on Car Rampage Because He Couldn't Buy a Hot Dog

CARY, N.C. (AP) — Police said a North Carolina man rammed his car into a hot dog stand when the vendor refused to sell him a hot dog and drink for a dollar. WRAL-TV reported 23-year-old David Kelbaugh of Rolesville was charged Wednesday with assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run, driving while intoxicated and injury to property. Police said Kelbaugh was drinking at a bar in Cary early Wednesday when he left to order food at the hot dog stand. Kelbaugh asked for a hot dog and a drink for one dollar and the vendor told him that wasn't enough money. Police said Kelbaugh yelled at the vendor, got in his car and rammed the hot dog stand twice. The vendor was treated for back injuries. His name was not released.

The American first lady could give Carla Bruni, the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and a former supermodel, a run for her money once she receives the flat black boots, which have been specially ordered from Robert Clergerie, the French designer based in Romans, in western France.

Mrs Obama has also ordered a pair of calf-length boots in beige buckskin, according to Mr Clergerie, whose boots sell for hundreds of pounds. Robert Clergerie said the first lady's order had been sent in by a retailer in her hometown Chicago after Mrs Obama could not find the exact style she wanted. One of the pairs was modified slightly from the catalogue model at her request, he said.

With her fashion-forward move, Mrs Obama has kicked aside controversy over the $540 (£362) Lanvin trainers she wore to volunteer at a charity food bank last spring. Critics were quick to question the appropriateness of wearing such expensive shoes to a charity event for the poor - particularly given the troubled economy.

20 Thousand ACORN Documents Found in a Dumpster - Scandal to Follow

On October 1st, 2009 California Attorney General Jerry Brown announced that an investigation had been opened into ACORN’s activities in California, resulting from undercover videos showing employees seemingly offering to assist the undercover film makers with human smuggling, child prostitution and even tax advice to boot.

Although ACORN has denied any wrongdoing, some of the employees involved were terminated, and ACORN has publicly stated that they would fully cooperate with any investigations that followed.

Shockingly, we now learn that the ACORN office in National City (San Diego County) engaged in a massive document dump on the evening of October 9th, containing thousands upon thousands of sensitive documents, just days prior to the Attorney General’s visit.

BigGovernment.com has learned that not only did this document dump occur, but the documents in question were irresponsibly and brazenly dumped in a public dumpster, without considering laws and regulations as to how sensitive information should be treated.

I am a local licensed private investigator. I took it upon myself to keep an eye on what the local ACORN office was up to, in light of the release of the undercover videos. I retrieved these documents from the public dumpster.

Documents shared with BigGovernment.com include information exposing not only the inner workings of ACORN in California, but also personal, sensitive information belonging to employees, members and clients of ACORN. ACORN and its few remaining defenders insist that the “good” ACORN provides outweighs the transgressions exposed in the recent undercover video sting. But, ACORN’s massive dumping of these documents and the cavalier manner in which it betrayed the trust of its supporters betrays that talking point. Google’s ad...leads searchers to http://www.google.com/resultsinfo.html, which apologizes to users who’ve “had an upsetting experience using Google,” and explains the company’s policy on offensive content:

“Sometimes Google search results from the Internet can include disturbing content, even from innocuous queries. We assure you that the views expressed by such sites are not in any way endorsed by Google.

Iraqi Insurgents Using Brett Favre to Mock Wisconsin Soldiers

Oh. They done done it now. Mocking the cheeseheads with Brett Favre jokes. Those bastards! Why do I think Vikings fans are behind this?

It seems that the Brett Favre-Green Bay Packers saga is such a worldwide phenomenon that it's being used by detainees in American military camps.

According to a military official, detainees at a Wisconsin National Guard camp in Iraq are using Brett Favre as a manner of getting at the guard troops there.

"They know Favre by name," said First Lieutenant Tim Boehnen, who is from New Richmond, Wis.

"One of the big words they know now is shenanigan. They'll constantly talk about 'Favre shenanigans,' 'He's so good for the Vikings,' and 'The Packers have got to really feel bad about that one.' "

According to Boehnen, it started when troops there started decorating their camp in Packers colors.

"We try to allow our troops to have as much fun in the compound as they can while still maintaining our professional manner," explained Boehnen.

"We spend a lot of time painting and making our compound our own and representing us. Obviously, wherever Wisconsinites go, we bring the Packers with us."

Once the decoration job happened, detainees became curious.

"They obviously then started up the conversations, and started talking about Brett Favre. They soon learned about Favre going to the Vikings, and things just started going downhill from there."

Liberal PC Run Amok - Postal Service Kills Santa Claus

Thousands of starry-eyed children all over the world are writing letters to the jolly man at the North Pole this holiday season, but they will not likely get a response from Santa Claus or his helpers.

The U.S. Postal Service is dropping a popular effort begun in 1954 in the small Alaska town of North Pole, where volunteers open and respond to thousands of letters addressed to Santa each year. Replies come with North Pole postmarks.

Postal Service officials said they are tightening rules in such programs nationwide after a postal worker in Maryland recognized a volunteer in the agency's Operation Santa program as a registered sex offender. The postal worker interceded before the individual could answer a child's letter, but the Postal Service viewed the episode as a big enough scare to make changes to the program.

People in North Pole are incensed by the change, likening the Postal Service to the Grinch trying to steal Christmas. The letter program is a revered holiday tradition in North Pole, where light posts are curved and striped like candy canes and streets have names such as Kris Kringle Drive and Santa Claus Lane. Volunteers in the letter program even sign the response letters as Santa's elves and helpers.

157 MB of data was mysteriously released from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit (Hadley CRU) showing how Phil Jones and many other academics riding on the Gorebal Worming gravy train have been "massaging" the data to fit their preconceived notions of climate change. There's a huge amount of data to be looked over, but it includes some thousand emails showing "scientists" efforts to deny to raw data to anyone who might look at it skeptically - even to the point of claiming the data was accidentally destroyed. In their world, the end justifies the means.

Fox News has picked it up, as well as Rush Limbaugh. Will any other of the big media have the guts to cover the story?

A spokesperson for the University of East Anglia said: "We are aware that information from a server used for research information in one area of the university has been made available on public websites. This information has been obtained and published without our permission and we took immediate action to remove the server in question from operation. We are undertaking a thorough internal investigation and have involved the police in this inquiry."

Iraq Swears by Bomb Detector U.S. Sees as Useless. Apparently, the Iraqis have found a foolproof method of detecting hidden bombs. The use of a high-tech version of dowsing. It's all about faith, don'cha know. I've got more faith than most, but faith doesn't make you stupid.

This new method takes much less time than searching suspicious vehicles, or the use of dogs (which is un-islamic). The handheld wand points right at the hidden bomb. If there is no bomb there, well, then the operator just wasn't holding the wand correctly. Or visa versa.

These magic wands (literally) cost more than dogs and are much less effective (i.e. useless). They don't offend islamic sensibilities, however, and don't interfere with rampant bribery through their political naive barking.

I've been watching this for a couple of days. Finally decided to blog about it. I think this except sums up the liberal outrage and Google's response. From Michelle Obama Watch:

It has been 2 days since I began my countdown to how long it would take Google to FIX their image search result for Michelle Obama. Just in case you’ve never done a search I’ll save you the time. This is what you will find…

How disturbing is that? What’s even more disturbing is that one of the world’s most powerful search engines, Google, has not officially responded nor have they taken the image down. A Google employee by the name of Jimmy Deheeger, title unknown, responded to the search result in the Google web search Help Forum…

“I agree that this image is clearly offensive and in very poor taste. Appropriate action will be taken after a speedy review. Thanks for the prompt, detailed reports that brought this issue to my attention!”

How inappropriate is it for the first image to appear in their search engine is a racist caricature of the First Lady of the United States as a chimpanzee?

Well...Google caved. Here was Google's response to the overly sensitive fringe blogger:

“If you recently used Google Images to search for the term [ Michelle Obama ], you may have seen results that were very disturbing. We assure you that the views expressed by the image in your results are not in any way endorsed by Google.

Not even sure I'd call it caving given that Google and its past shenanigans that have have revealed a decidedly leftist agenda. They seem to be predisposed to this sort of protectionism. Frankly, I expected them to do exactly what they did. The "offensive" photo has been removed. Not only that, all other photos poking fun at Michelle Obama have been removed from at least the first four pages of image result returns on a search of "Michelle Obama". I stopped counting at that point. Meanwhile...Google hasn't gotten around to cleaning up the George Bush pages. California regulators have adopted the first energy-efficiency standards for televisions in the U.S., a move that will eventually ban power-hungry sets from the state's store shelves.

Wednesday's action by the California Energy Commission could lead the way in a general reform of standards for an industry increasingly focused on wide-view, flat-screen, high-definition sets.

The 5-0 vote by the California Energy Commission is just the latest effort by the state to secure its place in the forefront of the environmental movement.

Some manufacturers warned that the regulations will cripple innovation, limit consumer choice and hurt California stores, because people could simply buy TVs out of state or online. The industry also complained that manufacturers will be forced to make televisions with poorer picture quality and fewer features than those sold elsewhere in the U.S.

Stimulus Official: "Hell No I Can't Certify that Those Jobs Stats are Correct"

The chief federal oversight official for the stimulus program said in a letter Wednesday that he can’t certify whether the number of jobs “created or saved” by stimulus funds is accurate.

Recovery Board Chairman Earl Devaney was responding to a request for information by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. In a letter to Issa dated Nov. 17, Devaney wrote, “Your letter specifically asks if I am able to certify that the number of jobs reported as created/saved on Recovery.gov is accurate and auditable. No, I am not able to make this certification.”

The Obama administration claimed that it saved or created at least 1 million jobs this year. But errors in the stimulus job creation data have become a political hot potato, as the administration has been hit by news reports revealing that data it posted on recovery.gov includes jobs allegedly created in congressional districts that don’t exist.

ONE of Afghanistan's most powerful warlords has urged America not to send more troops, insisting there are enough to beat the Taleban already – if the rest of Nato simply pulled its weight.

Ismail Khan, the self-styled Emir of western Afghanistan, and three-decade veteran of fighting the Taleban and the Russians, was particularly scathing about the Italian forces, in his hometown of Herat.

He said: "Most of the time they sit in their bases. We don't need more Americans. The troops that we have already – the Italians, if they were more active, if they fought, then the situation would get better."

His remarks highlight US concerns over a two-tier alliance, in which American and British troops do all the "heavy lifting", while the other nations pay lip service to the coalition.

US troops already joke that Nato's International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) stands for "I Saw Americans Fighting".

In Badghis, in north-west Afghanistan, nine Afghan troops and five policemen were killed and 11 others captured when their convoy was ambushed by the Taleban last year. Battalion commander General Farooq Naimie blamed his Italian mentors for refusing to accompany his men in the most dangerous part of the mission.

He said: "Before we left we agreed the Italians would go with us. Three days later they said they wouldn't come with us but they would provide air support. When the ambush started the Italian base was around 6km away but they didn't come out.

"We radioed the base to ask for help, but didn't see any results. They helicopters were above us but they didn't do anything."

The ambush sparked embarrassing questions in Kabul after it emerged the insurgent commander behind it, Ghulam Dastagir, had been released from prison less than three weeks earlier on the express intervention of president Hamid Karzai.

In September the Italians were accused of paying Taleban commanders tens of thousands of dollars, to keep the area east of Kabul quiet. Rome denied the allegations.
