Tavastia Forest

The drink is named according to Finnish county "Tavastia" where grows lots of conifer forests. The green color of the drink harks back to these forests. Excellent drink on a hot summer day.

2/3 oz sweet sherry
2/3 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
5 - 6 oz orange juice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, pour sherry curacao into the glass. Pour orange juice to fill the glass and stir.

Jay Carney is blaming conservative bloggers for the speading of the Michelle Obama "Whitey" rant rumors.

Obama has a new website designed for rapid response. It's called, "Fight The Smears" ...

Jay Carney of TIME was just on MSNBC, talking about it. He went on to say that conservative bloggers started the Michelle Obama "Whitey" rumors.

Of course, you and I know it was a liberal blogger who started the rumor...

Should I start a website to stop the rumor that conservatives started the rumor???

Carney needs to get his story straight.

We've reported on this "rumor" extensively here at THE BIG FEED. And without exception, every rumor and every spin on the rumor was generated by liberal websites. Virtually all the information we reported here came from two sites. Larry Johnson's No Quarter , a pro Hillary Clinton website and Hillbuzz.com, another, you guessed it, pro Hillary website. Jay Carney now spinning this as some conservative blogosphere attack is either done from remarkable ignorance, or remarkable malice. Either characterization fits your typical Obama supporter.

Flying Scotsman:

1 oz Scotch
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1 dash Bitters
1/4 tsp Simple Syrup
Ice

Stir with ice and strain into a glass.

I first discovered Frank Sinatra when I was 19...I was getting ready to board an army plane to Germany...I had my walkman, but had forgot to bring any cassettes...There was this makeshift PX at the airfield that had some cassettes in one of those rotating wire shelves...New Kids on the Block, Toni Tony Tone, Cinderella...and other various selections of the day...and then there was this tape of Frank's Greatest Hits...except it really wasn't his greatest hits...it was just the songs that whoever made the cassette could get a license for...real old stuff...and while all the other soldiers put their money down on the New Kids on the Block, I bought the Sinatra tape...and a MAD magazine...and some toothpaste and shower shoes...and some Dippity Do because, at that time, I was really into keeping my flattop tight...for the ladies

I listened to that tape non-stop across the Atlantic...conscience and sleeping...and thought to myself..."I like this...but I wonder which one of these other goomers on the plane is going to call me a fag for listening to it"....Well, as it turns out, nearly all of them called me a fag for listening to it...even the old lifers....having that memory, I wish they were here now...so I could ask them...out of faux curiosity..."Are you still a New Kids on the Block fan?"

In Glasgow, Scotland recently, a Muslim man was allowed to keep his license after being caught speeding trying to visit his two wives. The judge was sympathetic to the man's argument that he needed his license to spend time with his two wives. His attorney told the judge that his client needed his license to fulfill responsibilities as a husband to wives in Glasgow and Motherwell. Polygamy is against the law in Scotland. No mention of charges against the man for polygamy was made. This is yet another example of Eurasia bending to the will if Sharia law. Torn between to lovers

CHARLTON HESTON DEAD AT 84 - RIP

ACTOR Charlton Heston has died, family members have announced. He was 84. A spokesman for his family said he died this morning at his home in Beverly Hills, his wife Lydia at his side. Heston was an Oscar-winning actor who achieved stardom playing larger-than-life figures including Moses, Michelangelo and Andrew Jackson in historical epics and went on to become a best-selling author, a contentious Hollywood labor leader, an unapologetic gun advocate and advocate of conservative causes.
