This Is So Not Good

Yes those sanctions are working like a charm!

Iran is planning to place medium-range missiles on Venezuelan soil, based on western information sources[1], according to an article in the German daily, Die Welt, of November 25, 2010. According to the article, an agreement between the two countries was signed during the last visit o Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to Tehran on October19, 2010. The previously undisclosed contract provides for the establishment of a jointly operated military base in Venezuela, and the joint development of ground-to-ground missiles.

[...]

The situation that is unfolding in Venezuela has some resemblance to the Cuba crisis of 1962. At that time, Cuba was acting on behalf of the USSR; now Venezuela is acting on behalf of Iran. At present, the geopolitical situation is very different: the world is no longer ruled by two superpowers; new nations, often with questionable leaders and the ambition of acquiring global status, are appearing on the international scene. Their danger to the free world will be greater if the process of nuclear proliferation is not stopped. Among the nations that aspire to become world powers, Iran has certainly the best capabilities of posing a challenge to the West.

[...]

Nowadays, however, we do not see the same firmness from the present administration. On the contrary, we see a lax attitude, both in language and in deeds, that results in extending hands when our adversaries have no intention of shaking hands with us. Iran is soon going to have a nuclear weapon, and there are no signs that UN sanctions will in any way deter the Ayatollah's regime from completing its nuclear program. We know that Iran already has missiles that can carry an atomic warhead over Israel and over the Arabian Peninsula. Now we learn that Iran is planning to build a missile base close to the US borders. How longer do we have to wait before the Obama administration begins to understand threats?

It's Like. . .Radical Man!

Just when you thought the Obama administration couldn't get any worse, up pops another left-wing, freedom-hating, libtard feather in Obama's cap.

Introducing Robert Creamer.

Mr. Creamer is the husband of liberal toejam Jan Schakowsky (Dumbass-IL), but more importantly, he is a crook. A tried and true criminal. His offense? Oh, no biggie really, just $2,000,000 in bad checks and $50,000 in tax evasion while he was head of the Illinois Public Action Council, a consumer advocacy group.

Besides the tax evasion, his main crime was of check-kiting, which is writing checks on accounts with insufficient funds while shifting money around to keep the float going to prevent the checks from bouncing. All the while maintaining his fat cat salary of $100,000 per year and making no budgetary cuts to his foundation to remain solvent. Seems that's a genetic thing for Democrats. Never seen a dollar they couldn't spend.

Even in the face of FBI questioning, he continued his crime spree until he was finally arrested, tried and sentenced to an extremely lenient prison term of 5 months in the pen. His excuse to the court was he broke the law so he could keep fighting for the causes he believed in. It only gets worse for us "little people" because this a-hole spent his time writing a fine radical manifesto while in prison called Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win.

According to Joel Pollack at BigGovernment.com, this book is simply the Democrats and Barack Obama's game plan to design, build and implement universal health care in the United States and as Glenn Beck pointed out yesterday, some of the language and dialogue Obama used in campaigning and later as our dear leader, is nearly word for word from Creamer's book.

Think it can't get any smellier? Well, guess who served as a campaign adviser for Mayor Daley and Governor Blago? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Yes, Robert Creamer. In Chicago, the only thing thicker than blood are the politics that bind these people together.

And lastly, guess who was on the invited list at Obama's soiree the other night, at which the BIG NEWS was some brainless bimbo and her flat-broke husband crashing the party? Yes, you guessed it, Robert Creamer. Gold stars and government cheese for everyone!

So, let's review.

Van Jones: Marxist radical nut and 9/11 truther? Check.
Lisa Jackson: Climate nutter says CO2 is a health hazard? Check.
Timothy Geithner: Tax cheat in charge of all of our money? Check.
Kevin Jennings: Safe-Schools czar aka Mr. "Fist Kits?" Check.
John Holdren: Science czar and advocate of chemical sterilization through water supply? Check.
Carol Browner: Global Warming czar and socialist? Check.
David Hayes: California water czar? wut? WTF? We have water elsewhere don't we?
Jeffery Zients: Government Performance czar? Yeah, good luck with that!

Ok, Zients seems like a straight up guy, but hanging with a group like that, it won't be long before he is converted.

The above is obviously only a partial list of the radicals that Obama surrounds himself with and doesn't even begin to touch the breadth or depth of the radicalism from which Obama was spawned. Think Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, ACORN, Chicago New Party and the Chicago DSA among others. These are dire times for us and the inmates are definitely in charge of the asylum.

We have important elections coming soon and it is imperative that we start knocking some of these leftist nutballs out of Congress. This is our only hope in an effort to balance ourselves against the Red Tide of Obama's over-reaching policy decisions. Obi-Wan isn't our only hope, we are.

And lastly, a singular sentence from criminal Creamer's book sums up the situation quite sufficiently: “To win we must not just generate understanding, but emotion—fear, revulsion, anger, disgust.”

Indeed America, indeed. Feel the fear.

How Not to Get Your Ass Kicked by the Police

I figured I wasn't going to touch this, since all of the big blogs, the TV media, the newspapers, the radio jockeys, and every race baiter in America were talking about Henry Louis Gates and Cambridge Sergeant James M. Crowley and the president's ill-informed, asinine, and, frankly, bigoted comments last night.

But then I made the excellent decision of deciding to click over here, and, well, the first comment has led me (and now you) here:

Wikipedia Scrubbing Obama Entry of Any Critical Content

Yet another example of dangerous media tyranny defending Dear Leader. This report is from World Net Daily:

Wikipedia, the online "free encyclopedia" mega-site written and edited entirely by its users, has been deleting within minutes any mention of eligibility issues surrounding Barack Obama's presidency, with administrators kicking off anyone who writes about the subject, WND has learned.

A perusal through Obama's current Wikipedia entry finds a heavily guarded, mostly glowing biography about the U.S. president. Some of Obama's most controversial past affiliations, including with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and former Weathermen terrorist Bill Ayers, are not once mentioned, even though those associations received much news media attention and served as dominant themes during the presidential elections last year.

Also completely lacking is any mention of the well-publicized concerns surrounding Obama's eligibility to serve as commander-in-chief.

Indeed, multiple times, Wikipedia users who wrote about the eligibility issues had their entries deleted almost immediately and were banned from re-posting any material on the website for three days.

In one example, Wikipedia user "Jerusalem21" added the following to Obama's page:

"There have been some doubts about whether Obama was born in the U.S. after the politician refused to release to the public a carbon copy of his birth certificate and amid claims from his relatives he may have been born in Kenya. Numerous lawsuits have been filed petitioning Obama to release his birth certificate, but most suits have been thrown out by the courts."

As is required on the online encyclopedia, that entry was backed up by third-party media articles, citing the Chicago Tribune and WorldNetDaily.com. The entry was posted on Feb. 24, at 6:16 p.m. EST. Just three minutes later, the entry was removed by a Wikipedia administrator, claiming the posting violated the websites rules against "fringe" material.
As a point of comparison, you can compare Obama's Wikipedia entry with that of George W. Bush. You can see, there is no prohibition of "fringe material" when it comes to George W. Bush. A perfect example of Wikipedia's double standard which has allowed this entry to be written about Bush:
Bush's intellectual capacity has been satirized by the media, comedians, and other politicians. Detractors tended to cite linguistic errors made by Bush during his public speeches, which are colloquially termed as Bushisms. Some publications refer to Bush as "the worst president ever."
It is what it is. Be wary of Wikipedia.

BRITISH MUSLIMS PLANNED ON TAKING THEIR FAMILIES ON A SUICIDE VACATION

More details are surfacing from the 2006 Islamic terror plot to blow up jetliners over the Atlantic Ocean. British Muslims on trial for their involvement in an airliner terror plot spoke of taking their families on suicide missions

In response to several accusations made by the questioners that Al-Qaeda engages in killing innocent Muslims, Al-Zawahiri offers an outright denial: "We do not kill innocents - not in Baghdad, nor in Morocco, nor in Algeria, nor anywhere else. If an innocent person was killed during the mujahideen's operations, then it was either an unintentional error or a necessity, as in the case where [the enemy] uses [innocent people as] a [human] shield... We fight those who kill innocents."

With respect to the December 11, 2007 Al-Qaeda attack against government and UN facilities in Algeria, which claimed the lives of dozens of bystanders, Al-Zawahiri says: "Those who were killed in the December 11 attacks in Algeria were not innocent people. According to the communiqué from Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, those [killed] were... the infidel Crusaders and government troops who protected them. Our brothers in the Islamic Maghreb are more reliable, just, and innocent than the lying sons of France [i.e., the government] who sold Algeria to [the French] and the Americans."

"The Al-Qassam [Brigades] Must Advise Their Leadership and Demand that it Return to the Correct Path [of Jihad]"

In response to several inquiries regarding his harsh criticism of Hamas, Al-Zawahiri says: "I stepped up my criticism gradually... but when they signed the Mecca Agreement there was no escape from open criticism... They did not heed their brothers' opinion and [instead] persisted without forethought in their path of entering the elections, adhering to a secular constitution, abandoning their Chechen brothers [by meeting with President Putin], and forfeiting four-fifths of Palestine in [the] Mecca [Agreement]... I criticized them and will continue to do so as long as they adhere to a secular constitution and... do not renounce the Mecca Agreement."

With respect to the military wing of Hamas, Al-Zawahiri says: "The mujahideen of the Al-Qassam [Brigades] must advise their leadership and demand that they return to the correct path [of jihad]... If they do not respond to [their advice], then let loyalty to Allah and His Messenger supersede [loyalty to] the organization. If the political leadership senses the sincerity with which the mujahideen of Al-Qassam reject the [notion of] ruling by anything other than the shari'a and... [by] the Mecca Agreement, those leaders will most likely change their position."

THE BATS OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: THE COUSIN KENNY CHRONICLES (VOL. 1)

In Austin, Texas there is a bridge where over a million Mexican free-tail bats will congregate in the summer...and every summer evening, at dusk, tons of people will assemble to watch the bats fly from underneath the bridge in search of food...One summer I visited my brother who lived near Austin...and one night we got all liquored up and drove down to the bridge to see the bats...We thought it would be a good idea to go down there with tennis rackets, butterfly nets, and wearing football helmets...not to do any actual harm to the bats, but just to see the people's reaction...to our surprise, no one said anything about it being a bad idea or displayed any sign of disgust...We did, however, have three different people tell us that the best way to go about our business was with a lawn chair and a shotgun...God bless Texas

CHAOS ON THE US / MEXICO BORDER: DOES ANYONE CARE?

Is anyone paying attention to the events occurring in Mexico near the US border? Mexican troops and police are involved in combat with Mexican drug cartels who are seeking to secure their operations of smuggling drugs, weapons and in some cases, people into America. Nearly every day there is a new story of either police or cartel members being killed in intense fighting. The drug cartels operate openly and freely for the most part. In some cases, as reported yesterday, going as far as to place "help wanted" to attract new "employees". This activity is taking place in many towns along the US and Mexico border and no one, including our government, seems to care. Just this week reports surfaced that Mexican drug cartels are operating paramilitary training camps on the border with Texas. WORLD AT WAR

If al-Qaeda were at the U.S. border kidnapping and decapitating people while circulating videos of its exploits, Americans would be apoplectic. It would mean that terrorists were no longer "over there" in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq, but instead right at our doorstep.

For some reason, though, this country doesn't seem terribly alarmed that Mexican drug cartels are kidnapping, torturing and even beheading their victims – and posting videos of it on the Internet. They've established border-area training camps and amassed arsenals of assault rifles, grenades and armor-piercing ammunition.

Mexico has deployed about 22,000 troops and federal agents to major border and coastal zones in the past 15 months, including 2,500 troops and federal agents sent last week to Ciudad Juárez.

That far exceeds the U.S. troop commitment in Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks. But since this is the war on drugs, our nation seems not to be terribly concerned. We should be. It's time for a change in psychology because this threat is real, it's imminent, and it's happening right next door.

Nearly 200 people have died in Ciudad Juárez this year in a mafia-style turf battle between rival cartels.

After listing several high-profile assassinations of Mexican officials as well as U.S. citizens caught up in the violence, Thomas A. Shannon, an assistant secretary of state, told a congressional panel in February, "We can no longer just warn of this violence spilling over into the United States; we must acknowledge that it has."

For our side of the border, this remains strictly a law enforcement problem and does not require a military response. But we do believe Congress needs to act quickly on President Bush's Mérida Initiative request of $1.4 billion to help Mexico and Central America train police and coordinate programs to fight the cartels. And this country must stop handicapping our neighbors by failing to halt the flow of U.S. weapons and laundered money that fuels these gangs.

Let's face it: Drug gangsters are drawing straight from al-Qaeda's playbook to terrorize the Mexican public. If it's unacceptable overseas, we certainly shouldn't tolerate it next door.
