Was Chandra Levy Murdered by an Illegal Alien?

Wouldn't this just be something? I have people tell me all the time about how the illegal immigration issue is a trumped issue used only for political purposes. That's a convenient line of thinking, until someone you love is brutally murdered by one of these "non-issues". From Law Enforcement Examiner:

This past weekend, the mainstream news media were breathlessly reporting that an arrest of a Salvadorian immigrant for killing a young Washington, DC woman named Chandra Levy is imminent.

The case originally received so much media attention that she became a household name. While the media continue their fascination with this case, they have -- for the most part -- failed to identify the suspect as an illegal alien already locked up in prison for previous attacks on American women, preferring to call him an immigrant or a Salvadorian National.

This article only seems to raise the question of whether or not Ms. Levy's killer was an illegal alien. I could not find where they provided an answer. I suppose that's because that while they may be certain that the man arrested is an illegal alien, we are not yet certain he is Ms. Levy's killer. We are certain,. however, that this illegal immigrant has already caused major damage in our society. From ABC News:

Police investigating the 2001 “cold case” murder of Washington intern Chandra Levy plan to seek a warrant for the arrest of a convicted felon, currently serving jail time, who has emerged as the primary suspect in the Levy case.

The suspect, Ingmar Guandique, has been in jail since approximately July 2001 for two nonfatal attacks on women in the city's Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C., where Levy's body was discovered in 2002.

Guandique attacked a woman two weeks after Chandra's disappearance in the middle of May 2001, and another in July. The women were jogging in Rock Creek Park when he "clotheslined" them and dragged them down a hill. There was a struggle, they escaped and he ultimately was caught and pleaded guilty.

Guandique is now serving a 10-year sentence at the U.S. Penitentiary-Victorville in Adelanto, Calif., and is eligible for parole in 2011. The FBI most likely wants to close the case before his parole date, Brad Garrett tells ABC News.

I should point out that the ABC News article failed to mention that Guandique is an illegal immigrant. That shouldn't surprise you. The Washington Post, however, reports on Guandique's immigration status:

The day Chandra disappeared, May 1, 2001, Ingmar A. Guandique, a 19-year-old illegal Salvadoran immigrant, did not show up for his construction job. Around that time, he went to stay with his former landlady, Sheila Phillips Cruz, the manager of an apartment building on Somerset Place NW. Cruz noticed that Guandique looked like he had been in a bad fight, his face battered and bruised. He had a fat lip, a bloody blemish in his eye and scratches around his throat.

A 2006 report claimed that illegal aliens commit 12 murders a day in America. I seem to recall the report being scoffed at. Regardless of that report's accuracy, any murder by an illegal alien is unacceptable. And shame on anyone who claims this issue is one only of political opportunism. How dare you label these people as political opportunity!

Obama's Illegal Alien Aunt Dances the Inauguration Night Away

Here illegally for many years, living off American taxpayers' hard-earned money, she is now a "special guest" rubbing elbows with government officials. How y'all like dem' apples?

Ohio Democrats put aside the state's financial troubles and cold weather Sunday night to celebrate its part in electing Barack Obama to the White House.

Just a few blocks from Obama's soon-to-be residence, elected officials, former officeholders, proud volunteers and party activists from the Buckeye State noshed and drank at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, a historic luxury hotel.

The Ohio State University marching band officially kicked off the ball about 8:15 p.m. The 235 band members played and marched through the hotel lobby, then squeezed through the double doors into the elegant, red-carpeted ballroom.

One special guest who commanded attention at the party was Zeituni Onyango, 56, Obama's aunt from Kenya who has been in this country illegally and is getting help in her immigration fight from another ball guest, Cleveland attorney Margaret Wong.

Father Sells Daughter for Beer and Meat

Ten bucks says he voted for Obama. Twice.

A father is accused of trying to sell his 14-year-old daughter for marriage in hopes of getting money and 150 cases of beer in return, Greenfield police said.

Macelino de Jesus Martinez, 36, was arrested Monday on suspicion of trying to arrange to have his daughter marry Margarito de Jesus Galindo, 18, for $16,000, 100 cases of Corona, 50 cases of Modelo beer, several cases of meat, two cases of wine, 50 cases of Gatorade and 50 cases of soft drinks, authorities said.

The girl moved in with Galindo and when payments were not received, her father called police to get his daughter back.

Greenfield Police Chief Joe Grebmeier told KSBW Action News 8 that both Martinez and Galindo, who are immigrants from Mexico, face the possibility of being deported as illegal immigrants.

Grebmeier also said that both men didn’t fully understand that what they were doing was wrong.

Also, the girl told police that she willingly moved in with Galindo.

Arranged marriages are common in the section of Mexico where both Galindo and Martinez are from.

Oh. I see. We just don't understand their culture.

Border Patrol Shot at with Automatic Weapons

Alarming news from Borderfire Report:

Early this month U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Tucson, Ariz. sector and agents of U.S. Immigration Michael Websterand Customs Enforcement were again fired upon with what appeared to be military type automatic weapons by Mexican drug smugglers dressed in military garb. Agents after observing a Flatbed tow truck on the Mexican side of the U.S. Mexican border backed up to the new international border fence. According to witnesses the tow truck backed up on a newly constructed earthen dirt berm which put the truck almost even with the height of the fence. The tow truck operator slowly unloaded two trucks laden with marijuana over the 18 ft. high fence to the U.S. side of the border. The entire episode was caught on the remote camera surveillance system and watched by U.S. predator and National Guard camera operators who were able to coordinate Border Patrol field agents to the scene. Shortly after arriving several Border Patrol agents came under fire after chasing and stopping the drug smugglers two vehicles near Douglas, Ariz.

Many Mexicans Leaving America and Don't Plan to Return

Again, nice to see these people, whose only desire was to become Americans, not to steal Americans' jobs, sticking around when the going gets tough. Here's some of their stories:

After going months without a full-time job, Daniel Ramirez has decided it's time to return to family in Mexico.

Vicenta Rodriguez Lopez says she can't afford to live in Colorado any more because her husband was deported.

Roberto Espinoza is going back, too. After 18 years as a mechanic for a General Motors dealership in Denver, his work permit wasn't renewed and he didn't want to remain in the country illegally.

WTF? 18 years as a General Motors mechanic? And he's not even legal?!!!!

Mexico's consul general in Denver, Eduardo Arnal, said more people like Ramirez are going home for good.

Still others return on their own terms, having accrued the wealth to let them live their dreams in Mexico.

"I can't complain. I have a job and I am able to come back if I want," said Gustavo Camacho, 43, who works for a firm digging trenches for electrical cables in Denver.

Camacho, who is from Jalisco, has been here twice, from 1999-2003 and again since 2005. The first time, he saved enough money for a house in Jalisco. This time, he has enough to start a business — either a car repair shop or selling food on the street.

He wants his six children to grow up in Mexico, where he thinks family values are stronger.

Border Official Accused of Hiring Illegals

A top Homeland Security official in Boston was accused Friday of repeatedly hiring illegal immigrants to clean her home, even warning one not to leave the country "'cause once you leave, you will never be back."

Lorraine Henderson, the regional director of Homeland Security, Customs, and Border Protection, was arrested Friday at her home in Salem. She was expected to appear in federal court in Boston later Friday on a charge of harboring an illegal alien.

If convicted, Henderson faces up to 10 years in prison.

According to an eight-page affidavit, Henderson employed a Brazilian housekeeper who was an illegal immigrant for several years, paying her between $75 and $80 per visit, less than a legal cleaning service costs. She also allegedly hired two other illegal immigrants when the woman took time off to have a baby, even after a fellow agent warned her what she was doing was against the law.

Two years later, the officer learned Henderson was still employing the housekeeper and reported Henderson to a supervisor, the affidavit states.

The housekeeper was then interviewed by a Customs agent and agreed to wear a wire and record calls to Henderson. During one meeting in September, the woman told Henderson she'd come to the U.S. without a visa and just stayed, according to the affidavit.

Henderson warned, "Wow, wow, if you leave they won't let you back ... you can't leave, don't leave ... 'cause once you leave you will never be back," according to the affidavit.

The woman cleaned Henderson's home three times after that meeting.

Shed a Tear: Illegal Aliens Heading Back Home Because of Bad Economy

What? You mean these people who only want to share in the "American Dream" aren't willing to stay and tough it out during the hard times? Instead they're running for the border? Their border? Here's a report out of Colorado:

A tightening economy and social hostility are driving once-hopeful Mexican immigrants such as Absalom Lopez out of Colorado. Seven years after an illegal crossing that led to abundant work cooking and cleaning, Lopez, his wife and their 6-year-old, Denver-born son plan to chase their dream of opening a tortilla factory in Mexico. They say their $1,000-a- week combined earnings here plummeted in recent months to around $300. They're moving from a $700-a-month rented house in Wheat Ridge to a less costly two-room apartment until they head home to Veracruz next year, Lopez said.

"Mexico's a better place to raise a child. . . . If we stay longer, we'll lose money, because there won't be enough work."

And this report from Nevada:

Local Hispanic immigrants, both legal and illegal, are heading back to their home countries as the U.S. economic climate worsens, community members, advocates and school officials said.

Those who remain are sending less money to their families abroad as construction and service industry jobs dry up.

The trend of illegals returning home is nationwide. The numbers cannot be accurately quantified, but there is definitely a mass exodus. I thought these people wanted to share in the American dream. I thought they wanted to be Americans. It turns out they only wanted our money.

Houston Officials Put American Public at Risk by Releasing Violent Illegal Immigrants

Immigration officials have allowed violent criminals to leave the Houston jail despite being told they were illegal immigrants, an investigation found.

The Houston Chronicle reported Sunday that records shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials didn't file the necessary paperwork to detain about 75 percent of the more than 3,500 inmates who told jailers during the booking process that they were in the U.S. illegally.

The newspaper said most of the released inmates were in jail for minor offenses while hundreds were behind bars for such crimes as rape, molestation and drug dealing.

Meanwhile, Hispanics are expecting Obama to turn a blind eye to illegals in this country as payback for voting for him. Police your own people before you come begging for favors. Comprende?

SANCTUARY CITY SAN FRANCISCO HAS FAMILY'S BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS

Crazy misguided hippie wisdom cost these people their lives. Not the first, and it won't be the last.

The brutal and senseless murder last month of Tony Bologna and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, at the hands of Edwin Ramos, a native of El Salvador and known member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) street gang, was a reminder that inviting illegal activity can turn deadly. The Bolognas were on their way back from a family picnic when they inadvertently blocked Ramos' car from making a left turn in the Excelsior district. When Bologna politely backed up to let the other car past, Ramos responded by opening fire and killing all three passengers. Ramos has been charged with three counts of murder, with the added penalty of street-gang involvement.

This certainly wasn't Ramos' first brush with the law. He was booked both on felony weapons charges and for being a member of a criminal street gang earlier this year, but escaped prosecution for lack of evidence. However, as reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Police Department "cited 'numerous documented contacts' that officers had with Ramos and [his companion] Lopez, and said both were active members of the MS-13 street gang.'" But thanks to San Francisco's sanctuary city status, instead of being reported to federal immigration authorities and deported, Ramos was allowed continue to roam the streets of San Francisco until his arrest for the Bologna killings.

Lovely city. Gays fornicate in public on Folsom street and law abiding upstanding Americans are gunned down like dogs.

OBAMA EQUATES IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT TO TERRORISM

A puppy severely beaten and tortured by an unidentified man was rescued by the Border Patrol, 10News reported.

Last Wednesday, a surveillance camera captured footage of a man throwing the dog over the border fence from Mexico into the U.S., according to a press release issued by the Border Patrol.

The Border Patrol said the man jumped the fence and beat the puppy.

The man jumped over the fence back into Mexico and left the puppy on the other side, the Border Patrol said.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS BEHEAD LITTLE GIRL WHO REFUSES TO BE RAPED

Here, a horrifying story is described of a little girl who, after being taken to the Florida panhandle from Mexico, resisted while being raped, and was subsequently made an example of by being beheaded in front of other girls being held to be raped repeatedly. The girls made to watch were then left in the room with the little girls body for several hours.

MEXICAN BORDER TOWN DECLARES WAR ON THE UNITED STATES

A Mexican border town has "declared war" on the United States, vowing to clog the U.S. court system with illegal immigrants, because, city officials say, the U.S. Border Patrol is dumping in their town Mexican nationals caught crossing the border illegally.

Officials from Agua Prieta, a Mexican city of about 130,000, are also claiming that the U.S. government has repeatedly neglected to inform them about new waves of immigrants before they are routed there from points in the U.S. after capture.

Consequently, Agua Prieta leaders are teaching Mexican nationals how to cross into the U.S. and stay there, by instructing them to request a court hearing -- a tactic sure to clog the judicial system with possibly thousands of illegal immigrants who want their day in court.

Ironically, city officials from Agua Prieta complain that the horde of illegals is causing inordinate amounts of crime, drug abuse and homelessness -- complaints also lodged by U.S. landowners and ranchers who live on the U.S. side of the border, where illegals are attempting to gain access to the states.

The difference, say U.S. residents, is that the illegal aliens don't belong in the United States -- they belong to Mexico, if they have not entered by legal means.

Damn! Even the Mexicans are complaining about illegal mexican immigrants.

MORE THAN 60 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FOUND IN BIG RIG

60 plus illegal immigrants being smuggled in a truck being driven by illegal immigrants...

Authorities said they stopped the semi truck in East County at a checkpoint near the Kitchen Creek Road exit on Interstate 8 on Saturday at about 9:15 p.m. Border Patrol officials said they interviewed the driver, who admitted being an illegal immigrant.

Border Patrol agents brought in a K-9 to search the truck, and officials said they found 61 illegal immigrants hiding behind bales of cardboard. Investigators said they believe the immigrants entered the trailer through a trap door in the floor of the trailer.

Officials said they seized the big rig and will prosecute its 29-year-old driver, identified as Jose Pina Flores, for immigrant smuggling.
