NYU Student Revolt Ends Hysterically - New Video Available

Last week we reported about the NYU student "revolution". Some ambitious Che Guevara wannabes "seized" control of the school cafeteria and demanded...well, no one was really sure what they were demanding. Here's a video documenting part of the final moments. This is nothing short of hysterical. Worst hippies ever!

NYU Cafeteria Liberated: Trust Fund Babies and Slackers Arrested

The hope and change generation will protest anything. We already know that. But this has to be one of the lamest protests ever.

The last of the renegade New York University students were dragged from the campus cafeteria Friday after a three-day protest.


"Solidarity!" the fist-pumping rebels yelled while being pulled from the Kimmel Center.

And these losers had the nerve to complain that the police were too physical while making arrests.

Four students tried to flee a balcony after campus cops breached their barricade. Others were physically removed - and unceremoniously dumped outside.

"He picked me up by the shoulders and dragged me through the door," complained Farah Khimji, a 20-year-old sophomore. "I was thrown to the ground."

What was their beef? No one seems to know. If I had to guess, I would say that PCP was involved.

"We're not going to take it anymore!" Green yelled. "This is our university! This is unfair and unjust!"

Many of the other NYU students who watched the revolt fizzle said they still don't know what the rebels wanted.

"They're requesting so many different things," said Ryan Jacobson, a 19-year-old freshman. "None of it actually seems doable."

Senior NYU Vice President Lynne Brown said that whatever it was, the protesters didn't get it.

NYU did not "bend" to student demands, and the malcontents were banned from all NYU buildings until their expulsion hearings, Brown said.

When they took over the cafeteria, the students' stated cause was a demand for greater transparency in the NYU budget.

Good grief. I'm sure these kids' parents are paying good money to send these long-haired hippie types to school.

The video shows that every physical action was initiated by the peace thugs.
Every action that escalated the conflict was started by the peace thugs.
They were out of control and unrestrained in their actions.
Every physical action taken by the veteran and his family was in self defense or in seeking to stop the violence.

The Swartout's son was filming the protest where the peace thugs continually blocked his view and threatened him. They kept whining, "Please respect us," before they beat the hell out of his mother.

Carrie Swartout suffered a concussion from the kick to the head.
