THE WAY WE WERE: WHEN BASEBALL CARDS WERE 15 CENTS A PACK

It's October and the World Series got me thinking about baseball cards. I have two sons, so I stopped in the store to get them a pack of baseball cards. $3.00 friggin' dollars for a pack! And it only had 6 cards in the pack. And no gum! I passed on the baseball cards behind the counter which are apparently made out of plutonium or something. I can't imagine where they come off charging that much. When we got home I just drug out a shoe box from the closet and me and the boys re-lived my childhood, since I can't afford to give them their own childhood. Remember some of these?

New baseball cards are useless. Will never be worth anything either.
