WHEN KEEPING IT REAL GOES WRONG: OBAMA, ONCE AGAIN, PROVES HE'S WHITER THAN MOST WHITE PEOPLE

When keeping it real goes wrong. Seems all that hanging around with the real brothers and sisters at Jeremiah's Wright's church didn't do him any good. Wake up America! Obama is faking the funk!

This could be worse than mixing metaphors. If Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama is going to ad lib in a speech about the economy by invoking black 1970s breakthrough TV, he could at least get it right.

In his Oct. 29 speech in Raleigh, N.C., Obama railed against Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain on various issues about the economy, specifically including tax cuts and the privatization of Social Security. He proposed that had Social Security been invested in the stock market – it might cause a Fred Sanford-style reaction.

“If Sen. McCain is elected, we’ll have another president who wants to privatize part of your Social Security,” Obama said. “That ain’t right. Can you imagine if you had your Social Security invested in the stock market these last two weeks? These last two months? You wouldn’t need Social Security. You’d be having a – you know like, what was it. ‘Sanford and Son,’ ‘I’m coming Weezie.’ It ain’t right.”

But, Obama blew it in his attempt to be ‘70s hip. “Weezie” or Louise Jefferson, was a character on “The Jeffersons,” a show about a middle-class black family. Actress Isabel Sanford portrayed her.

On “Sanford and Son,” Redd Foxx played Fred Sanford, a get-rich-quick-schemer who would pretend to have heart attacks in times of distress and say: “Oh, this is the big one! You hear that, Elizabeth?! I'm coming to join you, honey!”
Good God! No self-respecting black man would confuse Weezie with Elizabeth. It just wouldn't happen. Well, at least he didn't say "Aunt Esther".

Here's the video.

Sounds like he's hearing things in the audience again.

The people in the background just look so clueless, they even know wtf a stock market is.

Yeah, the crowd. I can't believe that America has sunk to the point that it is catering to these idiots. A wise man once said that democracies end when people figure out that they can vote themselves goodies from the treasury. We are at that point.
