I surveyed approximately 20 kids tonight, after a long night of trick or treating. I suggested to them that I was going to take 40% of their candy and give it to some kids who were too lazy to go trick or treating. I told them they were being selfish if they did not go along with my plan. I told them they were not being patriotic if they did not share their candy. The children's responses ranged anywhere from "Leave me alone old man", to "stranger danger"! Suffice to say, kids overwhelmingly reject Obama's economic plan.

TWO ARRESTED OVER OBAMA EFFIGY
It is very telling in the way the media has chosen to report these stories. The Palin story on refers to her likeness being hanged in front of a house. The obama story makes sure to be more descriptive in saying the effigy had a 'noose' around it's neck. The word 'noose' is an important component in the media attempt to turn the obama effigy hanging into a racial event. Words DO mean things.
A University of Kentucky student and another man were arrested Thursday, accused of hanging a life-sized likeness of Barack Obama from a tree on the campus.
The incident was one of several in recent weeks involving effigies of the presidential candidates or their running mates. No charges have been filed in four other cases that have made national headlines.
UK Interim Police Chief Joe Monroe said the men "expressed remorse for a stunt that had gotten out of hand."
Arrested were Joe Fischer, 22, a UK student, and Hunter Bush, 21, both of Lexington. Both were being held at Fayette County Detention Center on charges of disorderly conduct related to the hanging of the effigy. They were also charged with burglary and theft at a fraternity house where police said the materials came from.
Lt. Tina Strange, a deputy jailer at the detention center, did not know who the men's attorneys were. She said they were each being held on $7,600 bond.
Monroe said the two men told detectives they decided to hang the effigy after seeing media reports about a Sarah Palin effigy in California.
EX CIA EXPERT: OBAMA TOOK MILLIONS IN ILLEGAL FOREIGN DONATIONS
This should come as no surprise. Surprising is the American public's ignorance of this matter.
A Newsmax investigation of Obama/Biden campaign contributors, undertaken in conjunction with a private investigative firm headed by a former CIA operations officer, has identified 118 donors who appear to lack U.S. citizenship.
Some of these “red flag” donors work for foreign governments; others have made public statements declaring that they are citizens of Cameroun, Nigeria, Pakistan, Canada, and other countries.
A Newsmax sampling of about 3,400 donors also found hundreds more who showed “yellow flags” such as not having used a Social Security number or a known U.S. address. Most U.S.-born citizens are issued Social Security numbers at birth or by the time they enter kindergarten.
Under federal law, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents may donate to federal political campaigns. It is illegal for the campaigns to accept money knowingly from foreign donors.
In addition to the donations the campaign has disclosed, however, it has taken an unprecedented $218 million from donors whose names it is keeping secret, according to FEC spokesman Robert Biersack.
That money came from individuals who in theory never passed the threshold of $200, the limit the FEC set for public disclosure of a donor’s name and place of residence, so there is no way of knowing how much foreign money could be included in that amount.
Newsmax retained the services of former CIA operations officer Frederick W. Rustmann Jr. and a team of international forensic accounting experts to comb through Obama’s donor list to identify those who apparently aren’t U.S. citizens or residents. Rustmann, a 24 year veteran field officer, operates CTC International Group Ltd., a West Palm Beach, Fla., firm that provides business intelligence services and analysis.
Using sophisticated Internet search tools, fee-based data bases, and other public records, CTC attempted to identify Social Security numbers and U.S. addresses connected to the Obama donors. Most of these donors gave obvious overseas addresses when they made their donations, but the Obama campaign had no security screen to detect them.
“Hillary and McCain demanded proof of citizenship of all their donors,” Rustmann said. “Obama did not, so he benefitted by receiving an enormous amount of money from foreign donors who wanted to influence the U.S. election process.”
Rustmann and his investigative team expressed “high suspicions” that 118 donors flagged as “red” were not U.S. citizens.
“That’s all we can say for certain, because it’s difficult to prove citizenship with no database that lists citizens,” Rustmann said.
Typical is Victor A. of Lagos, Nigeria, who gave $500 to the campaign in May. In the FEC database, his address is listed as Ikoyi, NA. But a closer look at the actual itemized receipts filed by the campaign shows that he declared his address as 9e Awori Street Dolphin Estate, Lagos, Nigeria.
A survey of the Obama donor base returns 8,794 donations from individuals who gave their state as “NA.” They included donors from Bangalore, India; London; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Lagos, Nigeria; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Thousands more gave state abbreviations that, combined with the city addresses they listed, clearly referred to foreign countries. Examples include IT (Italy), FR (France), GR (Greece), NZ (New Zealand), JP (Japan), GA (Gaza).
Another 2,372 donors gave their state of residence as “ZZ,” with cities including Moscow, Barcelona, Beirut, London, Lausanne, Singapore, Hagatna, Gunma-Ken, Buelach, Shanghai, Geneva, Prague, Aichi-Gun, Kiev, Hong Kong, and others.
The pace of foreign donations and other questionable fundraising practices has increased during the past few weeks, even as Obama campaign spokesmen say they have closed loopholes on their Web site and changed the credit-card authorization procedures that have allowed such donations. The Federal Election Commission had flagged 16,639 potential foreign donations as of Oct. 21 that brought in $5,249,263.96 to the campaign.

Former Republican presidential candidate and Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson told 10TV News on Thursday that he thinks threats to the system are clear. Thomson said the Association of Community Organizations For Reform Now poses a threat to Ohio's election process.
"ACORN apparently is perpetrating voter registration fraud all over this country in unprecedented numbers," Thompson said. "They've targeted Ohio. They're trying to steal this election."
CREDIT CARD EXPERT EXAMINES THE DEPTHS OF OBAMA CAMPAIGN'S FRAUD

Because many of our colleagues in the media have failed to investigate the shenanigans of the Obama Campaign, I have taken upon myself to uncover some improprieties. One that has troubled me greatly is Obama's very relaxed donation policies.
I have over 8 years experience working in the payment services industry. By
taking a closer look at Obama's online donation site, I have noticed that
his team has left the door wide open for credit card fraud by not putting in
the security measures to ensure full visa/mastercard authorization
compliance. This is outright irresponsible behavior on the part of Obama's
team and in direct violation of their agreement with Visa/Mastercard.
I did a test on his site. Acting as Joe Stalin, I went onto the Obama site
and donated $5.00. I used false information, address: 100 Red Square,
telephone number 323-666-1953, zip code 10001, Employer: Kremlin
Occupation: Dictator. I did use my valid credit card numbers and expiration
date. The typical security measures, Address Verification System and the
Card Validation Code are not present on the Obama site. So there is nothing
in place to verify who I am. (Please see attachment. [I have his attachment. I see no point in putting it up; we all know Obama's site allows this -- ace.]) I clicked submit. The transaction went through.
Then I went to McCain's site, and entered in the same information. Joe
Stalin. $5.00. As you can see, my donation was rejected for errors.
* What's the big deal? Obama has left the door open for anyone to run prepaid cards and foreign credit cards without proper screening. In addition, it is easy to run multi-transactions on the same card but under different aliases. In other words, an organization like Move On.org could run tens of thousands of transactions for millions of dollars using essentially cards belonging to only handful of very large liberal donors like George Soros, Peter Lewis and Eric Schmidt.
In addition, Obama's site violates his agreement with Visa/Mastercard. Visa Mastercard regulations require each credit card acceptor to "obtain the 3 digit Card Validation Code [CVV2 found on the back of your credit card. 4 digits for American Express Cards] and submit this code with all authorization requests with respect to transactions where the card is not present..." [cite:] Visa/Master Program Guide.
(Please see attachment or go to Obama's site. You will notice that Obama's donation site does not have this code requirement, which is in direct violation of Visa/Mastercard regulations.)
Speculations as to why?
Many foreign credit cards do not have CVV2 codes. Requiring such codes would limit foreign donations.
Secondly, disabling the security allows would be credit card thieves to
"ping" numbers till they get a hit. In other words, a crook could simply
type in random numbers until he found one sequence that worked in some
fashion. That could give a thief a starting point for committing credit-card fraud. If all they had to do was type nonsense values for names and addresses, such as Doodad Pro, they could quickly determine which numbers were valid - and they could probably program bots to do that kind of work.
[I consider this latter point a minor concern, given the fact that most fraudulent donors are willing coconspirators, not credit card thieves. However, it is interesting that Obama invites this sort of fraud, and doesn't take the most elemental step to eliminate it -- indeed, he is in direct violation of Visa/Master Card rules in failing to ask for this code. Why? Because he wants foreign donations, and he's willing to facilitate the occasional credit-card thief to get them. -- ace.]
No Address Verification System (AVS)
The Value of AVS from a credit card exper: I have over 30 years of
experience in investigating Credit Card Fraud and I can tell you, which you
may or may not know, that the merchant acquirer that is conducting the
collection of credit / debit card for the Obama campaign are responsible for
the actions to be taken regarding the Address Verification System responses.
The value of the AVS system is that the issuer of the card being used
provides back to the merchant acquirer a response based upon the information
provided during the authorization process. This response indicates to the
merchant acquirer if the card information was validated as to ownership of the account. It is the merchant acquirer that determines what to do when
the authorization response is received. In most cases the transaction that
comes back with any negative meaning is denied. However, if the merchant acquirer has adjusted their system to accept any response as acceptable the transaction would be completed.
The value of the AVS system is to deny Card Not Present transactions (CNP)
which are suspicious. This protects the merchant against charge backs for
bad transactions. What is interesting to me is that the merchant acquirer
has knowingly violated a basic CNP fraud prevention technique to accommodate a merchant (Obama Campaign). I think that both the Associations (VISA & MasterCard) would be highly interested in looking at the merchant acquirer that was processing these transactions. The value of ignoring the AVS
responses is that multiple invalid transactions may be made without fear of being rejected by the authorization systems. This means that the real owner
of the credit card account is willing to allow multiple transactions to be made on the account using different names and addresses that under normal conditions would be denied. The merchant acquirer has a complete listing of all transactions done and it would be very interesting to see how many transactions were conducted on the same account number using different names. I would think that this would be a Federal violation under the current campaign funding laws.
I hope you will take this inquiry seriously. I want a fair election. I do
not want either side to STEAL the election literally. Obama's tactics have
gone too far in my opinion. McCain is doing the honorable thing on his site
and playing by the rules. Obama is in clear violation of the rules. Is
this change we can believe in?

Kirk heads down to meet with them and is shocked by their wild appearance. The six beings are barefoot, dressed in lavish robes and colorful tunics. Despite their close brush with death, they appear completely calm and relaxed as if nothing has happened.
The group identifies themselves, starting with Tongo Rad, (the son of the Catuallan ambassador, and whose presence must be handled carefully, owing to the delicate relationship between the Federation and the people of Catualla), Irina Galliulin (a Starfleet Academy dropout and a former love interest of Mr. Chekov's), Dr. Sevrin (a noted communications and electronics researcher from Tiburon, who specializes in the theories of sonic manipulation), Adam (a popular musician), Mavig (the blonde who later sings with Adam) and another, unidentified woman.
The group quickly shows a disrespect for authority and demands to be taken to a planet they call "Eden" (a reference to Garden of Eden). Eden's existence is believed to be a myth however. The group refuses to cooperate with Kirk, calling him "Herbert", an insulting reference to his rigid and limited ideals.
The group is impressed by Mr. Spock however, who gestures with an oval "symbol of peace" the party makes with raised hands, and speaks of "The One".
From the history books, it turns out that the "Sign of Progress" was borrowed from none other than Adolf Hitler himself. This was found at German Propaganda Archive. As the photo is described on that site:
"The hands of the Führer organize his speech. This picture captures Hitler's hands as he speaks of the unity of the National Socialist and socialist ideas."
A sign of progress? A sign of unity? Or, as others have proffered, with respect to Hitler's use of this hand gesture, a sublimation of the instinctual need of masturbation? A subconscious representation of the vagina?

OBAMA'S AUNT FOUND IN RUNDOWN BOSTON PUBLIC HOUSING PROJECT

Barack Obama has lived one version of the American Dream that has taken him to the steps of the White House. But a few miles from where the Democratic presidential candidate studied at Harvard, his Kenyan aunt and uncle, immigrants living in modest circumstances in Boston, have a contrasting American story.Something is strange here. This woman comes and goes to and from America? Why? Is she receiving instruction from the socialist mothership in Kenya? And why does it take an English paper to break this story?
Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.
A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.
Speaking outside her home in Flaherty Way, South Boston, on Tuesday, Ms Onyango, 56, confirmed she was the “Auntie Zeituni” in Mr Obama’s memoir. She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”
A photograph of Ms Onyango was later shown to George Hussein Onyango, Barack Obama’s half-brother in Nairobi, who confirmed that it was their aunt. George Onyango, 26, the youngest child of Barack Obama Sr, said that he had spent weekends with his Aunt Zeituni when he was growing up, and instantly recognised her.
The Times could not determine their immigration status and an official at Boston City Hall said that Ms Onyango was a resident of Flaherty Way but not registered to vote on the electoral roll. However, that Ms Onyango made a contribution to the Obama campaign would indicate that she is a US citizen. Records at the Boston City Hall confirmed Zeituni Onyango’s birthdate as May 29, 1952.
It is not clear when Ms Onyango first came to the US. She said: “I have been coming to America ever since 1975. I always come and go.”
An Associated Press story about poor people buying lottery tickets at cheque-cashing shops, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, on May 25, 2003, quotes a Zeituni Onyango whom it describes as out of work and without much money. “It's like when I feel luck might fall I do that, like manna might come from Heaven. That’s when I buy it,” she told AP.
The Obama campaign was repeatedly approached for comment yesterday but had not responded at the time of going to press. It is not clear whether Mr Obama has been in touch with his African relatives living in the US, or even whether he is aware that they are on US soil.
This makes the second Obama relative found living in not so great circumstances discovered in the last two months. Earlier we reported on his brother George:

He told the magazine: "I live like a recluse, no-one knows I exist."
Embarrassed by his penury, he said that he does not does not mention his famous half-brother in conversation.
"If anyone says something about my surname, I say we are not related. I am ashamed," he said.
For ten years George Obama lived rough. However he now hopes to try to sort his life out by starting a course at a local technical college.
He has only met his famous older brother twice - once when he was just five and the last time in 2006 when Senator Obama was on a tour of East Africa and visited Nairobi.
The Illinois senator mentions his brother in his autobiography, describing him in just one passing paragraph as a "beautiful boy with a rounded head".
Of their second meeting, George Obama said: "It was very brief, we spoke for just a few minutes. It was like meeting a complete stranger."
George added he was no longer in contact with his mother and said:"I have had to learn to live and take what I need.
"Huruma is a tough place, last January during the elections there was rioting and six people were hacked to death. The police don't even arrest you they just shoot you.
"I have seen two of my friends killed. I have scars from defending myself with my fists. I am good with my fists."
By the way, another brother of his was found on the South Side of Chicago...Coincidentally, living in a shack.

In his Oct. 29 speech in Raleigh, N.C., Obama railed against Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain on various issues about the economy, specifically including tax cuts and the privatization of Social Security. He proposed that had Social Security been invested in the stock market – it might cause a Fred Sanford-style reaction.
“If Sen. McCain is elected, we’ll have another president who wants to privatize part of your Social Security,” Obama said. “That ain’t right. Can you imagine if you had your Social Security invested in the stock market these last two weeks? These last two months? You wouldn’t need Social Security. You’d be having a – you know like, what was it. ‘Sanford and Son,’ ‘I’m coming Weezie.’ It ain’t right.”
But, Obama blew it in his attempt to be ‘70s hip. “Weezie” or Louise Jefferson, was a character on “The Jeffersons,” a show about a middle-class black family. Actress Isabel Sanford portrayed her.
On “Sanford and Son,” Redd Foxx played Fred Sanford, a get-rich-quick-schemer who would pretend to have heart attacks in times of distress and say: “Oh, this is the big one! You hear that, Elizabeth?! I'm coming to join you, honey!”

OBAMA CAMPAIGN BUSTED PROVIDING DONOR LISTS TO ACORN
This election will go down either as America's most corrupt election, or America's last election. Perhaps both.
A former staffer for an affiliate of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now testified today that the organization was provided a "donor list" from the presidential campaign of Barack Obama in late 2007 for fundraising efforts.Anita Moncrief, a former Washington, D.C. staffer for Project Vote, which she described as a sister organization of ACORN, said her supervisor told her the list of campaign contributors came from the Obama campaign. Moncrief said she has a copy of a "development plan" that outlines how Obama contributors who had "maxed out" under federal contribution limits would be targeted to give to Project Vote, and that it was her job to identify such contributors.
Project Vote national spokesman Michael McDunnah denied that the list came from Obama's campaign, according to The Associated Press. Donor lists for candidates are public information and can be downloaded from the Federal Election Commission's Web site. The lists include how much individuals have given. ACORN officials have said Moncrief was fired from Project Vote and that she is not a credible witness. Moncrief testified that ACORN and Project Vote were virtually identical.

We've been following the Obama campaign's tactics designed to to convince the elderly to vote for him. Here is the latest. This is disgusting on levels that are hard to fathom.
In the video below, there are kids who are teaching the viewer how to talk to their parents, aunts or uncles and grandparents about the importance of voting. One of the people in the video says that he told his grandmother that if she voted Obama, "maybe she wouldn't have to buy me that extra sweater come the Fall." He advises the viewer to call them a lot, because "they love the attention." Got that, use the fact that they love you and love hearing from you to manipulate them into voting Obama.
Another great piece of advice is to get the other grandkids to help you gang up on them. He says that really "lowers the defenses." He also says he told his grandparents that if they don't vote Obama, he's not helping them with text messaging and Tivo. Shameless!

The Obama campaign has now realized that there is no great groundswell of youth votes coming. The latest Gallup Poll show that the percentage of registered first time voters is exactly the same as it was in 2004. What does that mean for Obama? It means it's time to start scaring the old into voting for him. That's what this trip to Hawaii to take care of his typical white grandmother is all about. Yes, the same grandmother he threw under the bus to get himself out of the Jeremiah Wright scandal. The same grandmother who, despite his claims that she is gravely ill, was released from the hospital days before Obama planned to return. She suffered a broken hip. Not exactly life-threatening. In fact, Nancy Reagan suffered the exact same injury last week. There are no rumors of her demise.
So why is Obama visiting his grandmother now, of all times? What is Obama's plan? I'd call it a cleverly concocted plan to woo the senior vote, but, if I'm able to figure it out, it can't be all that clever. Allow me to enlighten you as to the details of Obama's plan. Step 1 (day 1), play the doting grandson and rush to your grandmother's bedside under the pretense that she's near death. Step 2 (day 2), unleash a barrage of lies in television ads about McCain wanting to cut medicare. A claim that has been proven as an outright lie. And step 3? Step 3 (day 3) is unparalleled in political history. Step 3 is to create an army of goose-stepping, children of the corn like grandchildren and tell them to "hopenotize" their grandparents into voting for Obama.
This is beyond disturbing. I'm surprised they aren't telling the grandchildren of the corn to take a few $20 bills from grandma's purse for the campaign effort.

It's mild criticism, but criticism nonetheless. The AP fact checks Obama's bullshit:
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was less than upfront in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night about the costs of his programs and the crushing budget pressures he would face in office.And once again, Obama lowers the tax cut off to $200,000 per year. He has lied to the American people to get elected and was busted before the election even happened. And yet still, he leads in the polls. The Europeans were right. Americans are retarded.
Obama's assertion that "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond" the expense of his promises is accepted only by his partisans. His vow to save money by "eliminating programs that don't work" masks his failure throughout the campaign to specify what those programs are — beyond the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.
A sampling of what voters heard in the ad, and what he didn't tell them:
THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."
THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."
THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama's policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years — and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: "Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years." The analysis goes on to say: "Neither candidate's plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified."

THE FACTS: His proposals — the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more — cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged — although not in his commercial — that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."

A woman who lived with her ex-partner on the city's south side stabbed her former lover more than 200 times with a Phillips-head screwdriver and then tried to conceal the killing, police said.She was tabbed to cover the election from Florida? After committing the crime, Carol Anne Burger, 57, a writer who friends described as engaged and eager to move on with life, reported her old flame missing and then, a day later, shot herself to death in her backyard, police said.
Burger, upset at the disintegration of her relationship and disgusted with the U.S. during the past several years, sometimes talked of moving to Panama or Mexico to start again.
That she had recently lost her job didn't help the bouts of depression she sometimes experienced, said her close friend and confidante, Helen Gale.

At the October 7 Presidential debate, John McCain said that Barack Obama had encouraged Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make risky loans, and that Mr. Obama was the second largest recipient of campaign cash from the government mortgage giants.
Mr. Obama replied that he "never promoted Fannie Mae" and that "two years ago I said that we've got a subprime lending crisis that has to be dealt with." And that's not all. "I wrote to Secretary Paulson, I wrote to Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke, and told them this is something we have to deal with, and nobody did anything about it," said the Illinois Senator.
Some may find it hard to believe that Mr. Obama had nothing to show for this herculean effort to shake up Washington. They may be shocked as well that such passionate language didn't move the Fed and Treasury to action. For our part, we note that nowhere in his letter did Mr. Obama suggest that the government should stop subsidizing loans to people who can't repay them.
This is the latest fad among Beltway liberals who spent years encouraging noneconomic mortgage loans. They now proudly announce that at critical moments they issued a press release, or wrote someone, suggesting that somebody do something. Since soured mortgage loans are a root cause of this panic, and since Democrats did so much to encourage mortgage lending, the most politically useful of these archived warnings are the ones blaming something other than housing.

REMEMBER THE LAST LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO DRANK THE KOOL-AID?: A CAUTIONARY TALE
Jonestown was the informal name for the "Peoples Temple Agricultural Project", an intentional community in northwestern Guyana formed by the Peoples Temple, a cult from California led by Jim Jones. It became internationally notorious in November of 1978, when 918 people died in the settlement as well as in a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown, Guyana's capital. The name of the settlement became synonymous for the incidents at those locations.
On November 18, 1978, 909 Temple members died in Jonestown, all but two from apparent cyanide poisoning in an event termed "revolutionary suicide" by Jones and some members on an audio tape of the event and in prior discussions. To the extent the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide, it is the largest such event in over 1,900 years of history. The incident at Jonestown was the greatest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the events of September 11, 2001.
The poisonings in Jonestown followed the murder of five others by Temple members at a nearby Port Kaituma airstrip. The victims included Congressman Leo Ryan, the first and only Congressman murdered in the line of duty in the history of the United States.
A 44-minute cassette tape (the "death tape"), recorded at least part of a meeting Jones called under the pavilion in the early evening. Before the meeting, aides prepared a metal vat with grape Flavor Aid, poisoned with Valium, chloral hydrate, Penegram and presumably (though not certainly) cyanide.

But party breakdowns for turnout aren't the same as final tallies, and at least one poll offered a different view for the campaign of Republican John McCain.
A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.
And Republicans continued to show a traditional strength, leading 50 percent to the Democrats' 30 percent in the 1.2 million absentee ballots already returned.

YES, TAKE MY MONEY. As a small business owner. I made 340K in my best year out of ten years in business.
I paid over 165k of that in taxes between state and federal. I paid another 52K in SS and capital gains,
I think I should pay more in taxes. I probably gave away more than 25k in charity and hidden taxes.
That leaves me with 98k in my best year. I have no matching 401k from an employer, I am on my own! I pay over 11k a year in health insurance.
I work 16 hours days six days a week. I probably have ulcers. I look older than I should cause I've worked like a dog not to fail.
This year I'm still paying 11k in health insurance plus all the expenses of running a business (over 40K a year) and I'm still working 16 hour days, yet my business is running a 35k deficit this year.
You try working 96 hour weeks just to lose money and see how long you last. Fortunately for me, I managed to live within my means and save a nice sum for rainy days like these.
I would have a lot more set aside if I was able to keep more of my earlier taxes over the years. And now Obama wants to tax me more?
Do that and I shut my doors, get a passport and pick up some New Zealand travel brochures. And Libs have the gall to say the rich don't pay enough. You are a sewer crustacean from the past, communism fails.
While I'm on a tirade, what's the deal with this country, you get a nice house and a nice car and everyone loathes you. It's like they are trying to pull you back down, it's the same mentality you see in third world countries.

OBAMA WOULD NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE A TOUR OF THE WHITE HOUSE
On January 21, 1999, a man was deemed ineligible to take a tour of the White House, a "code red"...In this video, Lorne Baxter does a risk assessment on Barack Obama, to see if he would be eligible to take a tour of the White House.
Nor would Obama be able to obtain top secret clearance in the military:
The lowest-ranking enlisted persons in the Armed Forces of the United States who are expected to handle sensitive matters in the scores of jobs involving classified equipment or written material must be investigated before obtaining their security clearance. Could Barack Obama gain such a clearance?
To begin, the clearance applicant would have to complete a detailed personal history form that includes, if necessary, government access to all health and education files. This is the starting point of all security investigations. Top Secret clearance involves a field investigation rather than the Secret version that is usually limited to a "name check" that is a basic police and public information file review. For the TS clearance an investigator will visit the home neighborhoods and work place sites of the applicant in search of supportive and/or derogatory references.
If the clearance is extended further into the handling of information of such importance that it requires a compartmented distribution, the field and document investigation is pursued with considerable vigor over a lengthy period of time. Nuclear and other sensitive technical or political matters fall into this category.
In all cases, whether on the lower level or up to the most sensitive intelligence, the background of the applicant's personal and business involvement forms the nucleus of the initial phase of the investigation. The people with whom the applicant associates lead the investigator to personal connections and matters relative to the individual's character, beliefs and past acts appropriate to matters of security.
Eligibility for clearance at all levels is directly influenced by the people with whom one associates. Yes, who your friends are and have been does count -- a great deal. This is true, of course, in many types of police investigations where suspicion is adequate reason for further inquiry. In matters of security clearance, past associations often can mean the end of the process rather than just the beginning.
Considering Barack Obama as a candidate for a top secret security clearance status with a full array of compartmented clearances, one has to be cognizant of the fact that there is considerable evidence of associations and even assistance from individuals with past criminal records or who have expressed anti-American beliefs. Obviously admitted domestic terrorists William Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn, as well as recently convicted felon, Antoin "Tony" Rezko, fall into this category.
There is no possibility that a Top Secret clearance would be awarded to a member of the Armed Forces whose background included such associations. An intelligence service clearance for the handling of highly classified material would be totally out of the question.
IF THERE IS SOME hesitancy to accept that Barack Obama's associations would have precluded his obtaining a TS clearance with compartmented information access, it should be realized he would have had to pass both a polygraph test and a personal psychological evaluation. What are the chances of his being willing to take these tests, to say nothing of his passing, in light of his refusal even to make his educational records available?
It may be deemed unfair, but a child of an American mother and a foreign-born non-U.S. citizen father always receives additional scrutiny. So does the fact that questions have arisen concerning the source of funding for Obama's law school education. According to a well-researched article by Kenneth Timmerman (Newsmax), Obama was assisted financially by Khalid al-Mansour through the latter's rich Saudi contacts. Mansour has been referred to as a "Black Nationalist and a Black Muslim" who was a mentor to the founders of the radical Black Panther Party of the 1960s.
All of these matters would have arisen in a normal security clearance. The harsh truth is that the United States is willing to accept presidential candidates like Barack H. Obama who could never gain a Top Secret clearance if he was simply a U.S. Army enlisted man. And yet Obama wants to be Commander-in-Chief. Something is wrong here!

Governor Palin and I don't agree on a lot of things, mostly social issues. But I have grown to appreciate the Governor. I was one of those initial skeptics and would laugh at the pictures. Not anymore. When someone takes on a corrupt political machine and a sitting governor, that is not done by someone with a low I.Q. or a moral core made of tissue paper. When someone fights her way to get scholarships and work her way through college even in a jagged line, that shows determination and humility you can't learn from reading Reinhold Niebuhr. When a mother brings her son with special needs onto the national stage with love, honesty, and pride, that gives hope to families like mine as my older brother lives with a mental disability. And when someone can sit on a stage during the Sarah Palin rap on Saturday Night Live, put her hands in the air and watch someone in a moose costume get shot--that's a sign of both humor and humanity.
Has she made mistakes? Of course, she's human too. But the attention paid to her mistakes has been unprecedented compared to Senator Obama's "57 states" remarks or Senator Biden using a version of the Samuel Johnson quote, "There's nothing like a hanging in the morning to focus a man's thoughts."

Kenyans were not prepared for the bloodshed that followed, bringing the country to a standstill for 4 months. People were killed. Neighbours murdered neighbours in the name of change. So Americans should be prepared for that which may come in the name of change.
It is good to have change, but change that people are prepared to deal with. Kenya did not get the change promised by some leaders, even after brainwashing their followers making them to believe that President Mwai Kibaki was a old man who could die of health reasons. Some were brainwashed that the best thing for Kenya was to have change by electing a younger man in the name of Raila Odinga to be the President of the Republic. My fear is coming from here, now that Americans have been brainwashed that McCain is old and may die in office and the best for America is to have a younger man in the name of Obama. Most of those who were brainwashed in Kenya got wild when they did not get Raila as the president. Some chose to accept defeat while others chose to go on rampage raping and killing their neighbours. If Kenyans were ignored by the international community when the bloodshed started, the country would be very unstable today. The country was rescued from a brink of collapse, thanks to the international community. Who will rescue America, the most powerful Nation in the world if they start travelling on the road of bloodshed?.

Why does this collaboration by State and other Intel/Military Agencies want a pacifist like Barack Obama for President?
They knew they could not appeal to or trust John McCain and Sarah Palin to go along with the plan to stop a preventative invasion against Iran’s nuclear facilities. Compromising America’s security or that of our ally, Israel, is a betrayal of a greater magnitude.
Barack Obama, given his history of “hanging around the neighborhood” with self-declared anarchists and generally considered far Left-of-Center, could be easily guided by the likes of Colin Powell and Zbigniew Brzezinski to not either pre-emptively attack Iran as necessary or mount a second strike even after Iran attacked any American city or interest. Obama has said he would rather talk than act.
But first, Obama needed to be made President and that would cost huge sums. That meant he could not opt to take limited official Government funding as did John McCain. Obama needed far larger funds and that could not come from primarily normal contributions. It needed to come from deep, deep pockets - like those in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, the Gulf Oil States.
But, those campaign contributions could not come to Obama in huge traceable gifts, thereby calling attention from government agencies for illegal funding. The money had to be split into very small sums - like $200 per gift through millions of new donors. Of course, Obama’s fund raisers refused to release those names to check their origins as McCain chose to do. Other U.S. gifts to Obama in excess of legal limitations which were caught by outside observers, were generally returned - in part - but, even then - not all and not always. Who knew about this massive cash flow officially, unofficially or merely by well-founded rumors in the Intel community?
The State Department, the FBI, CIA, NSA and any number of our 16 Intelligence Agencies knew. But, just as no one stopped the false NIE Reports which caused the loss of American resolve to prevent Iranian nuclear weapons’ capability, no one stopped the buying of America by the huge, global campaign contributions. The Scam was that high up.
Buying a Presidential Election would be a well kept secret not unlike “the magic bullet” and “the shooter on the grassy knoll in Dallas”. Was the fix in?
It was puzzling when $150 Million Dollars came into Obama’s campaign in one month - not to mention the already accumulated “windfall” of close to $450 Million Dollars raised before. The $150 Million Dollars influx in September led to a grand total of $600 Million Dollars for Obama to spend, snowing the American public to cover his record and propagate his rhetoric.
Generally, that kind of money floats around drug cartels or oil deals between the Arab Muslim countries and the multinational oil companies. Clearly, if Iran (and Iran’s oil) were to be protected - along with its future potential for oil contracts, Obama would be a better, even vital, choice as a malleable President than a stubborn, experienced military man like McCain.
If the Presidency was to be owned and controlled by the multi-nationals and oil countries, they needed a President like Obama - a stooge. The “controllers” also needed a replacement VP who was known to be more than accommodating to Iran and, thus: Joe Biden.
The Media never really questioned this extraordinary cash flow but, instead expressed happy astonishment that a Left Liberal was receiving such approval by way of donations. Of course, no one in government stepped in and said: “Wait a minute”. No State Department, no FBI, no CIA, no Justice Department, no Intel Agencies, no watchdog Media....No Nothing!
IF Obama’s money is coming primarily from the Middle East, then this is a matter of National Security at its highest level - because America is in hock, in thrall, in debt to the tune of Billions of Dollars of deficit - and rising.
Clearly, the elections should be put on an extraordinary hold until these unusual questions hanging over Obama’s head are answered. A breach of security of this magnitude cannot be covered over or considered trivial just because the plotters need deniability.

INDIANA SECRETARY OF STATE TURNS OVER EVIDENCE OF ACORN FRAUD TO THE FBI

Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita submitted 100 hours worth of investigative work to the FBI and prosecutors requesting an investigation of the voter advocacy group ACORN.
Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter confirms there have been allegations of voter registration fraud in Lake County.
Rokita said 1,400 application submitted by ACORN violated Indiana election laws.
Long lines inside the County-City building are indicative of the growing popularity of early voting across the state, including Lake County, where hour-long waits are the norm.
Across the nation, the number of early voters has surged, and so have the problems.
"There have been a number of allegations about fraud in the registration process," said Carter.
Rokita has requested a criminal investigation in Lake County. He determined from 1,438 applications submitted by ACORN:
# 61 percent showed one or more indications of fraud or forgery
# 54 percent had no verifiable information
# 30 percent featured incorrect, incomplete or illegible information
"Unfortunately, Lake County has a history of vote fraud," said Carter. "It's very important that we have elections that are full of integrity and people believe that it's a fair process."
Rokita said despite claims from ACORN that it brought this matter to the attention of election officials, he indicated, "Clearly, ACORN representatives continued to submit applications they knew to be fraudulent to voter registration officials."

MEDIA BIAS WILL RUIN THE MEDIA
The traditional media are playing a very, very dangerous game -- with their readers, with the Constitution and with their own fates.
The sheer bias in the print and television coverage of this election campaign is not just bewildering, but appalling. And over the last few months I've found myself slowly moving from shaking my head at the obvious one-sided reporting, to actually shouting at the screen of my television and my laptop computer.

If the current polls are correct, we are about to elect as president of the United States a man who is essentially a cipher, who has left almost no paper trail, seems to have few friends (that at least will talk) and has entire years missing out of his biography.
OBAMA CHOOSES HIS FRIENDS CAREFULLY...JUST NOT WISELY
The scary thing is, so many people have bought into this guy, they now have to buy into his ideas as well. Regardless of how dangerous they are. Such is human nature. They'd rather go down with the ship than admit they're wrong.
WHAT OBAMA REALLY THINKS OF THE MIDDLE CLASS: WHAT EVERY AMERICAN NEEDS TO KNOW

Barack Obama is spending much of time hailing himself as the champion of the the middle class. He has made his promise of help for the middle class the center of his campaign. But how does he really feel about the middle class?
Truth be told, Barack Obama has spent much of his adult life worshiping in a church that had as one of its basic tenets the "disavowal of the pursuit of middleclassness". What does that mean? Well, If I have to tell you what "middle class" means, please, spend your time at CNN.com. As for the term "disavowal"...It means (and this is solely for your benefit because I have a big brain and already know what it means) "to disclaim knowledge of, responsibility for, or association with". It should be clear to you now what Obama's church meant by "disavowal of the pursuit of middleclassness".
Here is the point that I would normally direct you to Obama's church's website and let you view its basic tenets for yourself. Just so you can see that I'm not BSing you. Alas, that web page listing those tenets has been removed (The work of Obama's "truth squad"?). But the tenets of that church during Obama's attendance are well documented. They were on the church website earlier this year and served as the church's tenets for the entirety of the time Obama worshiped there. As they are part of the "Black Value System", they were as follows:
1. Commitment to GodNumber 8, the one at issue, is no longer one of the stated tenets of the church. It has been removed. But it did exist. Again, it served as one of the points of the church for the entire time Obama worshiped under Jerimiah Right, his spiritual mentor. Here's proof. And here's even better proof.
2. Commitment to the Black Community
3. Commitment to the Black Family
4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education
5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence
6. Adherence to the Black Work Ethic
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect
8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of “Middleclassness”
9. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the Black Community
10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting Black Institutions
11. Pledge allegiance to all Black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System
12. Personal commitment to embracement of the Black Value System.
Now, if you take Obama's worship at a church that has as one of its basic points the "disavowal of the pursuit of 'middleclassness'", and you throw it in a pot with the thoughts of his communist mentor Frank Davis and his and his socialist associate Saul Alinsky, and then you add a dash of resentment and condescension for bitter, bible clinging, gun toting types, you really start to get a better picture of exactly what Obama thinks about the middle class. Which is, that he doesn't believe it should exist.
America! Here is a man who is running around the country telling anyone who will listen that HE is the one who is fighting for the middle class. Which, given the above, comes as quite a surprise. After all, he had 20 years to get point 8 removed from his own church's tenets. He did nothing. He had 20 years to tell his congregation that killing the middle class is not such a good idea. Instead, he showed up to church on Sundays and said nothing. And we're now supposed to believe he is our greatest defender? Wolf...sheep's clothing. Y'all know the story. Don't get eaten.
