Wow! That didn't take long. A couple of days ago, I guaranteed that the Democrats would play the race card concerning Obama's health care reform. Now, when I posted that, I was looking relatively long-term. I expected that the race card would be played when Congress returned to Washington in September. Well, with things going in the crapper fast, they couldn't wait.
Already one Democrat has compared those opposing Obamacare to the KKK. And now we have Chris "Tingly Leg" Matthews saying people only oppose Obamacare because Obama is black.
Chris Matthews, on Tuesday's "Hardball," painted town hall protesters as racist as he charged, "I think some of the people are upset because we have a black president." Matthews invited on Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell and the Wall Street Journal's Stephen Moore to analyze the uproar at the town hall meetings and after Moore offered that some of the protesters' rage was caused by the "$800 billion obscene fiscal stimulus bill," Matthews interjected with his own explanation for the anger as he exclaimed: "Are you telling me that these guys were created by this new president? That the people we're watching on television with their guns and their attitudes about the republic weren't around before January 20th?!...Okay I think, I think some of the people are upset because we have a black president."Once again. Will these liberal media elitists please tell us in advance what issues we can be upset about without being racist? That might make everybody's life easier.
