During the past week, I have noticed our traffic rank consistently diminish while the number of repeat visitors has increased. Actually, the repeat visitors for this blog has been steadily increasing over the past two months. Many thanks to all who come here on a daily basis.
After seeing this drop in traffic, I became curious as to why. The answer is simple. Google search results no longer display our individual blog posts. This is a new phenomenon that started only late last week. Google only lists our main page which can only be found if one searches the term "the big feed". I was able to find only a handful of our older posts via other sites that had linked to this blog. Prior to last week, we were consistently at the top of search engine results, depending, of course on the title of the posts and the number of other, more established sites that were discussing the same topic.
I have heard of other conservative blogs being "sandboxed". A means of eliminating conservative blogs from search ranks in order to diminish their viewership. For example.
I fear the same may have happened to this blog. Has anyone else experienced this problem with their blog of late?
In the meantime, I would appreciate any fellow bloggers adding a link to this blog on their site. And we will reciprocate.
