Back in the dark ages of my life, picking through mass graves and burned out tanks of our many battle fields, I came across a rather odd item inside the rusted remains of an old Camaro. It was a red mouth with a tongue sticking out of it. It was hanging from the rear view mirror. Thinking it was some kind of sign from Allah that my family would eat soon, I ran as fast as I could back to my small, rat infested apartment in Tikriti Al-Shidoobee. I showed it to my sister, Fatas Al-Roker.. "Fatas! Fatas!!!" I screamed, "Look what I found! Surely Allah has blessed our pathetic family! We shall eat soon!!!" She just laughed. She told me it was the logo of a famous infidel rock group called the Rolling Stones. Fatas knew a lot about music. In fact she went on to record music and become a rather big star in her own right. However it did not end well. At first she sang many, many hit songs about the glorious rise of our leader Saddam Hussein. Then, well... she became a little too aggressive. Many of her songs were critical of the regime. It all came to a head when she released the song "I kissed a Kurd, and I liked It" She was thrown in a vat of sulfuric acid for that one. I miss Fatas. She turned me on to the greatest rock and roll band in the world. This song, Love in Vain, showcases the great Mick Taylor. He has inspired me to play from the soul.
Enjoy!
